Om te slapen verder niet
Pros:

Alleen de prijs en locatie

Cons:

Oud en vervallen kamers misschien wel schoon maar in slechte staat plafond bladdert af kit randen vies en alles was gedateerd ook de buitenkant
Wij checkten uit om 8:00 en niemand te vinden in hele hotel dus sleutel via de met tralies afgesloten receptie maar op de balie gegooid

Sadly not great 😩
Pros:

Stayed at Yelf’s many times over the years - it is my go to choice when l stay in Ryde. Although it is very tired and is in need of redecoration l love the character, location & friendly staff. As a single traveler sometimes l always feel safe staying there.

Cons:

I was so disappointed with my last stay at Yelf’s. There was no offer of assistance with my suitcase up the stairs ( l am in my 70s), the tv was faulty and started flashing red & blue ( on/off lights) at some point overnight until l unplugged it at the wall. There was peeling paintwork & the room was generally poor. The awful noises at different times throughout the night l found out the next morning was the night porter dragging tables across a wooden floor. This was after a party in the function room which my bedroom sadly was above. All in all l had about 90 mins of broken sleep.

Adequate not fantastic.
Pros:

Fairly cheap and centrally located.

Cons:

Seems a bit run down and barely cleaned or maintained.
I found it quite cold at night... single glazing and draughts.
Very little contact with the staff except checking in and out.

Great Hotel
Pros:

Very friendly and the room was comfy and had everything we needed

Not the best way to advertise the isle of wight
Pros:

No breakfast included was told I could have tea and toast in lounge at 9am when I asked was told should go across to other building for breakfast and lounge didn't open till10am.

Cons:

One hand didn't know what other was doing. I had to wait for someone to appear to open reception before I could check out as had a bill to pay. Was put in attic no lift. Not asked when booking if could manage stairs
