Very central. Room warm and comfortable. Bathroom not ultra modern but perfectly OK. Adjoining Bar for food and drinks if wished. Several restaurants nearby if other food preferred. Breakfast arrived promptly at 9am.
The slection of items in the breakfast selection seemed a bit odd to us. Possibly because of the inclusion of sweetened yoghurts, a strange oaty/porridge pot, sweet muffins, wheaty bars etc. The croissants, jam and fruit we did appreciate and we took the mixed salamis home for future use.
It was very clean. It is in the centre of Banchory around a 50 minute walk from the Crathes Castle parkrun start and a big park next to the Dee nearby.
As it's an extension to an hotel there was quite a lot of noise from the outside bar area. The tea/coffee, food provided were not great. Only minor quibbles really.

It's part of a busy bar so expect a lot of noise until about 1pm at weekends
Location is brilliant and we were lucky to be able to park right outside. The barman greeted us with a smile which was very welcome after a 10 hour drive to get there. He was very helpful with getting us our keys and showing where our room was as this was a late arrival (midnight)
The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner, especially when I turned on the fan whilst having a shower!

Comfortable stay and excellent value for money. The staff were very welcoming. Breakfast came in a basket (continental) and there was more than enough choices in it eg porridge, yogurts, fruit/fruit juice
No parking but there is some in the street behind. It is pay station car park however it is free on Sundays.
