Lovely, well managed hotel, providing everything for a comfortable, relaxing break.
Pros:

Adequate room with balcony and beautiful view and the provision of complimentary goods.
Lovely decor and comfortable seating areas of lounge and bar areas. We didn't sit outside, but the grounds looked very inviting with well managed gardens.
Staff were very pleasant and welcoming.
Convenient position for walking in to Dartmouth, and direct access to the ferry.
Car parking in the grounds was an added bonus!
Good breakfast choices, with efficient friendly service from staff. Also a beautiful view from the dining room!

Pros:

Amazing food.. Two staff members in restaurant spoilt things for all other staff who were amazing.

Cons:

Tried to avoid the staff in restaurant who were not welcoming and warm in their manner. Booked ( tried) a table in the restaurant for our anniversary and it really did become hard work to get a window table. We were told tables are not allowed to be booked which is understandable but some staff hide behind being obstructive.

Great weekend, lovely hotel
Pros:

Staff, room, breakfast and diner were all excellent. We had six of us in three rooms, all with nice views of the river and the ferry coming and going. The rooms were spotless and extremely comfortable. My friends all thought that it was lovely and liked it so much we agreed that our annual get together would be back at the same place next year. Thank you for a nice weekend.
