Excellent value. Five star service by staff.
Pros:

First of all, I’ve been coming here for five years, and they have retained most of the same staff. This is very pleasant because you know that they care and they are genuinely invested in providing a good experience. These people are professionals and it shows in how they handle, not just when things are going great, but when there is a problem. For a small upgrade price you can get a room with a nice view that is partial of the east river. And the city. I just consistently have a good experience here. They’re not perfect but when I’ve had an issue, it was handled professionally and respectfully. I usually stay for minimum of four nights and I’m quite comfortable. Highly recommend booking this hotel for longer stay as you can count on a good experience from check-in to check out.

Cons:

I think they can do some improvements, such as ceiling, the peeling wallpaper. Things like that are very easy to do and make a difference in how the rooms show. I also have seen their prices go up significantly. They need to stay humble and definitely offer more value for longer stays.

Well, it was a bed.
Pros:

Location was good. Lots of good food nearby & good access to public transportation.

Cons:

$500 for a room barely bigger than the bed one night for one person with no bathtub and a phone with the cord practically falling out and the elevators not reading my keycard half the time and also going so fast I thought I was going to plummet to my death and THIRTY EXTRA DOLLARS FOR CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST is absolutely absurd.

The hotel itself was very clean, comfortable, and pleasant, and overall we were very satisfied with our stay. We felt that it offered excellent value for money.

Cons:

Unfortunately, one very disappointing incident seriously affected our experience. A pair of our shoes, which we had left in the room, mysteriously disappeared. We reported the issue to the hotel staff several times and asked them to help locate the shoes, but they were never found.

The hotel staff told us that they would continue looking for them and that, if the shoes could not be found, we would be compensated. However, it has now been almost a month, and we have received no update, no follow-up, and no compensation.

This is extremely frustrating and disappointing, especially because we were otherwise very happy with the hotel. We sincerely hope the hotel will take responsibility and follow up on this matter as promised.
