Arrivée à Alger Dar El Bahida à l’hôtel “Casablanca” Le réceptioniste nous a fait patienter plus d’un quart d’’heure car il ne trouvait pas notre réservation! Il nous a
annoncé que Hôtels.com ne les avait pas payé! Pouvez-vous SVP leur envoyer la facture et les payer si nécessaire. Merci.

Close to the airport

Salam, they are very friendly and respectful. Alhamdullilah, they helped us with a ride to the hospital. May Allah reward them. Excellent place and will stay again on our return to Algerie from USA. Inshallah ❤️

Hôtel pas propre, cafard et mauvaise odeur dans la salle de bain. Service du personnel de nuit (le veilleur de nuit) peut courtois et pas du tout professionnel.
Expédia Canada ne devrait travailler avec des hôtels de ce genres.

L'hotel est situé proche de l'aéroport d'Alger. On a choisi cet hotel pour nous reposer durant notre escale en arrivant de l'étranger et avant de prendre un vol domestique vers une autre ville le jour même. Le prix était très abordable et le personnel d'accueil etait très aimable et très serviable. La chambre était très
spacieuse et très calme. Cependant elle manquait de propreté. La salle de bain dégageait une mauvaise odeur ce qui nous a privés de prendre une douche. Les meubles semblent un peu vétustes. En général, l'hotel est Ok pour un court sejour.

Hôtel "classique" bien pour être proche de l'aéroport. Accueil sans plus. Chambre à peu près propre et bonne literie. douche laissant à désirer. Petit-déjeuner médiocre et débarrassé trop tôt. Emplacement intéressant.

Bel hôtel mais qui nécessite un peu de réfection des toilettes et salles bain ainsi qu'un nettoyage régulier de la moquette

Of all 4 hotels I booked in Algeria (Algiers, Constantine and Ghardaia) this one was the most expensive, and the lowest quality. Overall not that bad, and I am not picky, but the worst with this hotel was the trip from the airport to the hotel, and on the next day - back to the airport. I picked this hotel because it was the closest to the airport (only a kilometer in strait line, couple of km along the road), big mistake - I should have chosen one of the other hotels with free airport shuttle.
When I arrived at the airport I called the hotel and they said they will send a taxi, I gave them clear directions where I am - terminal and door exit number. In the next 40 minutes I called the hotel 3 more times to ask where is the taxi, and at the end I was advised to get a taxi from the airport (the taxies there charge three times the amount you pay when you travel same distance in the opposite direction - to the airport). When I arrived at the hotel the issue was blamed on me - I was told that my phone "has been locked" (I explained at least twice at the beginning that they should not call me because it is an international number and it will be very expensive for them, probably more than the taxi ride, and some local services probably lock expensive calls).
Well, that was not all, next morning when I asked for a ride back to the airport, the same taxi that could not locate me previous night, asked me for the same exorbitant fare I had to pay from the airport to the hotel.

Even though I had booked and paid the room upfront, when I arrived at 1 am in the night, they had no room available for me. The night guard only spoke French, which I don`t, so we had some communication challenges, but he called his manager however this didn`t resolve anything for me either. When I called, hotels.com, they were very understanding and helpful and they even called the hotel, but they answer was still the same that they had given away my paid room.
