Towneplace Suites By Marriott Hays

Great service received from the front desk staff and the breakfast staff. I actually entered the wrong room #412 in error and didn't know it until later that evening. When I first went up to fourth floor I scanned the card and the door opened so I went in and unpacked everything. I noticed it was a handicap room which I know I didn't ask for. I mentioned to the front desk when I left for dinner. When I came back I could not get into #412. Then I looked a the folder and saw it was Room #402. So I went downstairs and your staff came up with me and I moved my belongings to room #402. She determined there must have been an issue with the lock on room #412. I really appreciated the personal service received at this property. The breakfast was great as well as the staff. Even though the fireworks were going off nearby I had a good nights sleep. I will definitely stay here again next time I am in Hayes, KS. Thank you!

We stayed here one night on our way to Denver and have visited here several times. Front desk staff can be hit or miss here. We've had both nice and not-so-nice staff. We were lucky this time and had one of the nicer ones which makes a difference after a long day of travel. Our queen suite is just enough room for the three of us. Rooms are a decent size and we appreciate having a kitchen with a full-size refrigerator. Suite was very clean however two out of the three shower product dispensers were empty which we did not realize until one of was already in the shower. Fortunately, we had packed our own items as a backup so we did not call housekeeping to refill that night. One addition that would be appreciated would be a luggage rack so that we don't have to put our bags on the floor. The closets are very nicely outfitted with drawers and shelves but that would only be useful for longer stays and doesn't allow any room to put a suitcase or two. The hotel was quiet at night and although there is some road noise if you are facing I-70, it was not enough to keep up awake. There was always coffee available in the lobby and there are plenty of places to eat in town; IHOP is right behind the building if you do not want to drive anywhere. Free breakfast is not huge but there are enough choices to satisfy most guests and we always take advantage. This hotel meets our expectations for a TownePlace property and is a good choice for solid accommodations in this area.

The suites were great. Had a separate room for bedrooms.
