The reception staff were fabulous. The hotel has been beautifully renovated structurally. Lovely to see an old building brought back to life.
I had booked a Deluxe King so assumed it would be a large bed but it was a cosy double. Perhaps a booking.com poor description of the room we were allocated.

The quality of the room and the overall hotel was first class. The gym facilities were also excellent.
Breakfast was a shambles. Unfriendly staff, long waiting time to be seated and served, and the food was only ok. Definitely will avoid if starting again.

The hotel is lovely, staff are amazing, so friendly and attentive. Room was spotless, bathroom spacious and well designed. Underfloor heating in the bathroom was an extra bonus. Breakfast was great, many options and they were happy to accommodate my GF needs.
The room type name on booking.com is misleading - room was called King, but the bed was only a double. This was a bit unexpected especially with my husband being 6'4. This was the only downside of our stay.
The property is stunning and in a perfect location. The staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you. The room was beautiful, well equipped and spotless. Most comfortable bed. Will definitely be back.
