I think about this everyday
Arriving at our first holiday , the one we got engaged at & we find the pricy compared to others hotel we booked turn out to be a dump!
The receptionist was a young man , asian look or something like that and he was so rude , didnt even say hello
Took us upstairs to what looks like a cheap old , badly renovated building.
The room was terrible to say the least. Very dirty and neglected , old towels , even dirty toilet seat and the worst thing in that room was that the toilet brush was left inside the shower! 🤢
Everything was too dirty to touch and the AC broke down so we asked to change the room since it took that rude receptionist 3 hours and as we expected he done nothing!
It was 37 c that day so it was hot and dry
We finally had to argue with him to get another room
It was 20% less dirty
The bathroom was another nightmare
Shower curtain was so old & dirty and had things living in it and again toilet brush inside the shower!!!!
The owner was nice and all smiles
But the receptionist was one miserable guy that i really dont know how he kept this job that long!
I checked reviews first to see if they got any better but i guess not🤷🏻‍♀️
Its definitely a place that no one should be forced to stay at not even for a minute
It was my second time in bodrum and last , both times hotels were terrible and i had to change hotels 3 times the first visit

The guy in charge in the morning shift is terrible and very rude, he never smile and when you asked him for something he is totally showing that he is annoyed by you for me I think he doesn't respect the costumers at all.

The room was small and the bathroom doesn't look nice at all. The toilet was broken. There was water leack on the toilets who wasnt fixed after that we informed the guy in charge.

The AC got broken but they did there best, and was fixed the day after.

They don't clean the room everyday, or make beds but only once every 3 days. Wotch is not normal for an hotel.

In the room you wont even find enough place to dry your towel or wet clothes after going to the beach. Room is also humid that stuff doesnt even dry at all.

The fridge temperature is very low almsot useless.

Also the room need a good renovation. You can find a lot of marks on the wall.

Breakfast is boring and very light. Always the same ingredients and tastes less.

We will asked the guy for some speacil beachez direction he was very lazy to help us and just told us to take a taxi, when we could take public transports instead.

Wifi was not even working properly.

So disappointed.

Otelde cuna, pazar ve pazartesi gunu kalmak uzere rezervasyon yaptik. Cuma Kos a gidecektik. Cuma gunu otel sahibi hakan beye, “pazar gunu de kalabiliriz, size cumartesi hemen haber veririz dedik. Kendisi de, “onemli degil, gitmusken kalimnos adasina gidin” diye de akil verdi. Pazar gunu kos da kaldik. Pazartesi gunu odeme yaparken, kendi haber verin yeter dememis gibi cumartesi gununu da aldi utanmadan. Dahaonemli ben 6 sene amerikada kaldim, bana isimi ogretmeyin gibi garip ifadeler kyrdu. Cok kaba ve dunyayiben yarartim havasibda garipbur sahis. Kahvalti alaninda sigara iciyor. Ayrica odalarda boat kapaklari yok. Kafamizi koydugumuz, yatagin dayansigi duvarda, hem de iki uclu ve acik elektrik varsi. Kapaksiz hemde.

Location: in the city centre of Bodrum. Everything is super close... Seaside, castle, shops, supermarkets, restaurants. 5-10 minutes walking from Otogar. Great!
Hotel: I would rather say Guest House or Pansiyon. The entrance is beautiful. Super cozy, white and turquoise terrace. The Hotel is rulled by the owner and he is nice, the typical Turkish seaside man, as you can find in Greece, Italy or Spain. He has some helpers as well. So, the treatment is very familiar, like his house is your house and you feel welcome. Obviously, because of that, do not expect the impersonal and professional service from a 4* hotel. For some people, I can understand that it might be a bit rude or shocking, but you need to understand it. For us, it was fine because we are used to that.
Room: it was exactly as in the pictures. White and turquoise, with Air conditioning, private bathroom, minibar. Bed was comfortable. Clean. It is true that it needs to get renewed (painting the walls and improving some things from bathroom). It is true that it is not very well soundproof, but noises did not disturb us that much.
Breakfast: personally I would prefer more sweet things, but still is good and enough to feel full.

Our general experience was positive. Nice place, well located, clean and super cheap comparing to Europe. Great value for money. It is true that I would categorise it as Guest House or Pansiyon in order to avoid complaints from those who are really expecting the services from a proper "hotel". And I would do some improvements in the bathrooms. The rest was wonderful.

The location is good. Taking a walk you can be at the beach and choose one of the multiple restaurants there. The owner was okay, just did his job, nothing more. The hotel has a terrace for breakfast, nicely decorated with umbrellas. The rooms were nice, good for the price we payed. Breakfast was a little basic, but again, fair for the price. Recommended hotel.

Disappointing Experience ! Small rooms without tissue papers and dustbin. It’s hardly a hotel. Worst experience on high money

I booked this place on hotels.com I didn't check reviews, the location and parking were my priorities. As my trip was after major Turkish holidays I innocently thought I was getting a bargain in this "boutique hotel" - the photographs, description etc.

I arrived at 15.15p.m. having had a nightmare driving experience getting there - the MINUTE I pulled up the "Owner" greeted me in an aggressive tone and manner.
I'm almost 60 years old, I have traveled all over the world, mostly as a Solo Traveler and I can testify that I have NEVER had an experience like this - he waved a phone in my face and asked if I had a reservation I said yes I booked......he walked away roaring at me to give him my passport. I did, a member of his unfortunate Staff started to register me, he paced up and down then roared at me to "SIT". He roared at me "you booked with hotels.com not bookings are you stupid?"
I explained that in English a "booking is a reservation". Then he started to make personal remarks about my appearance, I truly thought I was on some sort of candid camera show as his behaviour was just absolutely unacceptable and ridiculous.
The room was not what I had paid for - I told him I had booked and paid for a double.....he said "I won't give you a double. There is nothing you can do about it"
I repeated I paid for a double - "You need to go to the room and sleep, when you wake up you will change your attitude, you are very tired looking. Anyway there is nothing you can do - I am the Owner here"
I sat into my car and left. This "Owner" is NOT suitable to be in contact with humans much less Tourists. I have traveled extensively in Turkey and I have NEVER, EVER encountered anyone of his low caliber.
Luckily as I know Bodrum very well I found alternative accommodation very quickly.
This is a "boutique KIP" he is beyond rude he's unprofessional, arrogant, ignorant and a disgrace to the Turkish people.

Akşam saat 10 gibi ulaştığımız otele check-in yaptırırken, otel sahibinin saygısız, kaba, ukala, agresif tavrıyla şok olduk. Bize yöneltilen “nerden” sorusunu, ne demek istediğini anlamyıp tekrar sorduk diye, “sizi otele almak zorunda değilim, isterseniz hemen gidin, seviyesiz davranmayın” gibi cümlelerle sesini yükselten bir tavırla konuştu. Daha donra da bir lütuf gübi “yap oğlum check-in” diyip saygısızca bir tavırla çekip gitti. Zaten günü birlik kalacağımız için ve geç saat olduğu için, mecburen kaldık. Ertesi sabah hiç bir şey olmamış gibi davranmasından, bir önceki gün sarhoş olabileceğini düşündük.Etrafında çok benzer oteller var. Tercih etmemenizi önerirz.

Konum olarak harikaydı. Estetik açıdan harika bir yer. Odalar oldukça temiz ve düzenli. Kendinizi evinizde hissedeceksiniz

Odadaki tuvalet leş gibi kokuyor,odada wifi çekmiyor, internet yok. İnternet olmadığını söylediğimiz halde bir sonuç alamadık. Kahvaltı çok geç bir saatte 9’da başlıyor. Otelin sahibi olan bir adam otelin avlusunda oturuyor ve rahatsız edici şekilde size bakıyor ve konuşuyor. Bunlara rağmen sadece otel çalışanları ilgili ve iyiler.

This stay came out of my worst nightmare. It couldn't have been any worse. The owner is a RUDE, unprofessional, irresponsible person. He believes because “here is Turkey”, he can be without manners. The location is on a main busy road. It’s very noisy and you can’t rest at all.
The only place that does not serve breakfast until 9.30 am. Who serves breakfast that late? He must have mentioned this before hand, so I wouldn’t have booked this place. Booking.com or any other website shouldn’t have allowed him to advertise his crappy place on their website without warning the travelers. “DO NOT GO” unless you are prepared to be treated in an inhuman way. Keep away. AVOID
