Good Experience
Pros:

The hotel is great, very welcoming
Cleaned and environmentally sound
However it is located very far (about 1h30min) from what we call “pinterest” beaches.
At the moment we came, the roads were in chaos due to roadworks and repairs.
Overall, for those who just want to stay at the hotel, without really wanting to explore the city, it’s a great choice.

Die Location war toll, von dem Rest waren wir jedoch bei einem 5-Sterne Hotel enttäuscht.

Das Zimmer war sehr schön und groß.
Der Pool ist schön.

Cons:

Das Frühstück. Wir haben uns durch das Personal nicht wirklich willkommen gefühlt. Sie haben sehr nett gegrüßt, haben aber ansonsten demotiviert gewirkt. Wir haben zur Begrüßung zwar einen welcome-Drink bekommen, jedoch wurden wir nicht über das Hotel (beispielsweise Frühstückszeiten etc.) informiert. Wir haben eine Extra Gebühr bezahlt, um ein paar Stunden eher auf das Zimmer zu gehen, was grundsätzlich in Ordnung ist. Der Grund für die Gebühr aufgrund der fehlenden Verfügbarkeit von Zimmern vor der Check-in Zeit, dass das Hotel ausgebucht sei, war aber gelogen.

I enjoyed the Omelettes and pancake station.

Cons:

My room was switched randomly and I do not know why. We booked the same type of room yet I did not get a bathtub in my room, I don’t know if this is because they switched my room.

The Hamam massage was not worth it, the steam did not work, it took 3 hours instead of 2 hours, and only one person for two people. I don’t think the people who work there are certified masseuse. The Swedish massage just felt like they were rubbing my skin. Not enough staff and they booked too many massages for the staff available so they were running in and out to do multiple people.

The AC didn’t work well my last night and I sweat through my pajamas and the sheets.

Staff stared too long at guests.

Best Hotel in Zanzibar
Pros:

We held a regional conference, and the facilities were excellent. Rooms are super clean, venues are tech friendly, hotel waiters are friendly, and the food is simply delicious.

The environment is pristine and quiet, and access to amenities such as gym, spa and beach view is such a wow factor. Highly recommend.

Perfect stay at Verde
Pros:

Location is very good, very close to prison island, you can take a speed boat from the hotel to the islands for 8 minutes only.
The staff are all very welcoming, kind and so nice.
Our room was cozy and very spacious.
Breakfast is 10/10 (so good 😍😍)
Room service is also very good, we ordered some dishes and all were delicious.
Overall 100000/10 highly recommend 😍😍

Calm, clean and welcoming
Pros:

The hotel was clean, the staff were kind and helpful and the food was good. I recommend this place. The breakfast had a big variety and the eggs and pancake stations were the best.
