We loved Kodiak Island and our stay there. This hotel was great for our stay and a good location.
Pros:

The location and the friendly staff. Room was very comfortable.

Kodiak experience
Pros:

Visiting my son who is stationed here, there are limited lodging options. But Im so very thankful we chose the Quality Inn. The proximity to the airport could actually be within walking distance.
This hotel was very clean & all the staff we encountered was very friendly & helpful, from the front desk, house keeping & breakfast service.
The young man who worked the breakfast was very conscientious of the food quanity & cleanliness.

Would definitely recommend staying here if you are going to be in Kodiak.

The stay was most pleasurable, especially after a long journey.
Pros:

I loved the room, comfy bed, fresh look, and endless hot water. It is super close to the Airport, which was great. We had reservations for the day before, but due to weather we were delayed getting off the Island we were on. The hotel's same day cancelation policy allowed us to cancel with out charge. This made us want to stay there when we got back from our trip, just to show our gratitude. I'm glad we did, because it was lovely.

Cons:

You know the exterior of the building doesn't look great, but you should never judge a book by its cover.

That is really the only thing I didn't like.

Pros:

I stayed here recently and was shocked to receive a $350 charge after checkout for “damaging” a chair. I did not cause any damage to the room or furniture. The chair in question has a small tear in the fabric on the side but is still completely usable. There is no structural issues, no impact on comfort or function.
Charging full replacement cost for a minor, repairable tear (which likely costs far less to fix) feels excessive and unfair. Despite explaining the situation and requesting proof/documentation, the hotel has not resolved it satisfactorily.

Pros:

Bed was super comfy and front desk staff was helpful and friendly. Bear Spray is loaned out free of charge by the hotel to guests that are hiking! Just ask at the front desk.
