Dated accommodation in need of TLC, smells appalling, staff very friendly
Pros:

Bed was comfortable, day time receptionist was very friendly and pleasant

Cons:

Strong smell of faceas in corridor, strong smell of cigarette smoke in our room after it had been serviced ( reported to staff) cracked tiles in shower, overall very dated and in need of refurbishment

Really friendly helpful staff. Clean and comfortable. Value for money hotel. I was happy with my stay.

Cons:

There was nothing i didn't like. Great for a budget hotel.

Cheap for a reason
Pros:

Location is great

Cons:

Beds were hard as a rock, couldn’t reach staff in the night when people were slamming doors and shouting, the lady we first spoke to when entering and getting the room was friendly and polite though

Best cost performance out there!
Pros:

There's simply no better value for money hotel in the area than Red Wings. It's not flashy but it gets everything right, which - considering the price - is very impressive. The staff are always amazing, so friendly and efficient. Beds are comfy and clean. It's quiet, it's a very convenient location. All good!

Cons:

The WiFi wasn't secured so I didn't use the WiFi.

Great little hotel.
Pros:

The beds were extremely comfortable, rooms were clean. Lady on the reception was very helpful and friendly.

Cons:

One of our rooms didnt have lamps by the door which meant either darkness or harsh light in the evening. Cleaners entered one of our rooms while we were out and do not disturb sign was on the door.

Perfect place with good bus connections
Pros:

The location was good because you have a bus stop just in the sidewalk of the hotel. The connection with the centre is good. The staff was so friendly and they let us to do the early check in even earlier. There is a pub with good food and drinks. So perfect to visit Solihull and to have a nice stay there.
