nobody in the lobby, the AC is not workign in 3 diferent rooms.

Fine experience

Right next to a bus stop and a small local strip of food. Friendly staff. Quiet and relaxing.

This hotel was clean and spacious. For the price.. it was so worth it.

We appreciate that rooms in Tokyo are small but this was tiny. Too much unnecessary furniture that just blocked everything. Very hard and uncomfortable beds. Hotel is outdated. Would not stay here again.

Very clean and conveniente

The reason this place gets bad reviews is their check in reception is on the other side of Kyoto. It’s a really strange set up. I’ve been all over the world and never once come across this. It’s hard to find the reception, the address they gave me took me elsewhere. It’s hard with suitcases. The room is clean and tidy and the beds are comfortable. It’s is in a good area close to all the action in Gion. It’s a good place to stay if you can be bothered with the check in

Great amenities and friendly staff. Building was a bit older and the mattress was as hard as the floor (I’m American, maybe locals will have an easier time).

This hotel was very clean and they were very convenient. Definitely would recommend to others traveling here.

It's in an ideal location for walking or taking the train. The area is beautiful in the spring.

This was adequate for our stay in Tokyo. It is a bit of a trek, to the train, but it was clean, and given that it was high season, it was more reasonably priced. The room was a good size for a Tokyo hotel, had a king bed (though quite a hard mattress), and fridge. Though right opposite a very busy roadway, the room was remarkably quiet. There was limited staff, but there were no problems, so that was okay.

It is not crowded, easy access to the station with lots of restaurants and stores. The rooms are big and clean. There are snacks on the roof top. We left our suitcases with them after check out to still go around until 3pm. You can hear the sirens because it is beside the highway.

Poor to nonexistent staff service. Room was very disarranged with useless devices and junk taking up valuable space.

콘서트가려구 알아봤는데 저렴하게 숙소 잘 구했습니다. 신주쿠쪽에서도 가깝고 근처 조용하고 음식점들도 꽤 밀집되어 있어 너무 좋았습니다. 방 크기는 일본호텔치고 컸고 방은 사알짝 모텔? 같은 느낌은 납니다. 수건도 넉넉하게 주시고 아주 좋네요! 수압도 좋아요!!!

Very poor service, the desk person was there only once in three days, no lobby.

Clean, comfortable, convenient location. Loved soaking in the large tub at the end of the day. Miss the heated toilet seat in the winter!

It was an older property but it was maintained well, had a comfortable bed, a good shower, etc. Would stay again.

We stayed here for about 3 weeks as my husband had a heart procedure here in Tokyo. It’s a fantastic spot! So close to shopping & dining and so close to Sasazuka Station. Getting around Tokyo was easy and fun. We walked a lot of places just because we could!

The staff were amazing and helpful.
