Clean, well-kept and cozy place is on top of the mountain and completely isolated.
Stunning pool but not heated so cannot be used, no gym, linens and towels have seen better days.

Lack of sunbeds around the pool area.
We stayed at Hills & Hues for 4 nights. The resort itself is awesome and the view from the resort is marvellous. The staff is very courteous and the property manager Mr Prabhu, ensured that our stay was comfortable. The staff in the restaurant was also very kind and the executive chef, Mr Ram served us dishes to our taste.
There is an infinity pool, though we were not able to use it because of the cool weather.
There are several spots where one can click amazing photos. The staff was kind to click some shots of both of us.
The resort is about 5 kms away from the town of Kumily, where the Periyar Tiger Reserve is, so once in the resort, you enjoy the facilities of the resort. About a km of the distance is totally uphill.
Overall, we had a great time and really enjoyed ourselves.
There should have been heating in the infinity pool. Being on a hilltop, the weather could get cool anytime.

From the moment we booked to the time we left , every little detail was taken care of by the team, not easy for a large group of guests - front office with Revati, the restaurant staff( every one of them) , our wonderful chef Ram ( who ensured we had a wonderful cake for a birthday in the group, and churned out local delicacies at a short notice) the housekeeping staff ensured well stocked and clean rooms at alll times . The hotel golf cart and jeep driver who always patiently ferried the whole group ( 14 of us ) up and down from the base of the resort was always full of stories.... The spa was amazing with the therapists ensuring comfort through the procedures .
