What a fantastic place. Staff are amazing and the restaurant is so lovely too. We stayed in a 2 bedroom ground floor apartment with direct access to pool. The apartments are spotless and so well equipped. Great location for getting to beach and shops too. Thanks to all the fabulous staff that looked after us.

We had a fantastic family stay and really enjoyed our time here. The location is excellent, with easy access to nearby areas, and the shuttle service was very useful and reliable. The facilities are well maintained and ideal for a family holiday, offering everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were attentive, friendly, and consistently helpful. A special mention goes to Nan, the Guest Relations Manager, who went well above and beyond to ensure our stay was smooth and memorable. Her dedication and personal touch truly stood out. Overall, a great property that we would happily recommend and return to.

I think don't book I can tecommend to book this hotel. Price don't match quality of service and living. The whole day in and out you hear these load Christmas songs and they go on forever. You hear the music everyhere in the hotel. If you kindly ask at the reception that they put the music donwn - little reaction .

I go on vacation to have my peace and to be able to relax and read a book on the balcony. Difficult to do this if you have load music everythere and it goes on forever.

So for me price is not offering quality what one expect from such a hotel. Since I travel a lot I can judge. -

Amazing experience at Diamond Resort Phuket! The rooms are spacious, clean, and modern, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the location near Bangtao Beach is perfect — peaceful, yet close to restaurants and shops. The pool area and gym are excellent too. Definitely a 5-star stay!

My friends and I shared a magnificent 2 bedroom suite! It was so bright and spacious and incredibly well equipped with laundry room, full state of the art kitchen! Lunch and dinner were super! I cannot praise the hotel and the staff enough! I can highly recommend! Whilst I didn’t go in the pool it is very inviting

This resort is suitable for all ages. The pool is lovely and long with plenty of sun beds around, although mostly shaded due to the buildings.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful, especially Ome, and also the reception staff. In general all of them could not do enough for you.
Breakfasts had a wide variety to choose from daily and we ate in the restaurant a few evenings where the food was excellent but we particularly enjoyed the Australian tenderloin.
If you have room/chance to try a dessert, the Tropical Pavlova was absolutely amazing!
The resort offers regular transport to and from the beach and shops which is easily booked via the resort’s App.

This was our first visit to Thailand,so didn't know what to expect.
This place is fantastic and I can't understand the negative reviews. Staff are attentive and very friendly, never had any issues. Yeah it's a little out the way but 10 mins walk and your on a main strip, all the fun of Thai traffic thrown in for free. If you don't fancy that the hotel runs a free shuttle bus to both the local shops and beach. You can choose when you go and what time you go back. Watching the sunset from the beach was something else.
The room was ideal for us, with a small lounge, bed room and kitchen. Not that we used the latter as food out here is very cheap to reasonable.
Thank you to all the hotel staff and restaurant staff (front and back of house) for our amazing stay.

Great hotel, would return. Stayed for 12 nights breakfast included with a family of 7. We had 2 rooms, one was a 2 bedroom, I expected it to be larger but we managed, the beds were good size, comfortable and good Aircon in each room. The room were cleaned daily we had to ask for clean bedding one day as they had just re made bed with dirty bedding. They rectified straight away. The cleaning company seemed to be an external company not part of hotel.
We ate lunch and dinner in the restaurant regularly, the staff were very friendly and attentive we will miss taew in particular. Food was lovely don't know how anyone can leave bad reviews. More expensive than local places obviously, the cafe next to hotel did very nice coffee and Thai tea for cheap. The reception staff and security also very friendly and the kids had banter with most. The location is not super close to much but you can walk or get shuttle bus for free. Breakfast buffet was lovely , more or less the same each day but enough choice not to get bored for 12 days.
The pool was massive, loads of palm trees each side so you didn't get much sun but we wasn't bothered as it was so warm. We came during wet season so it wasn't really busy, people seemed to stay short term. I used the gym a lot here, it's small but better than nothing. There was a singer most nights and that's the only entertainment but we didn't expect any.
Very small play area for kids. Kids menu in restaurant and enough choices for me being veggie

This was by far the most pathetic stay I’ve ever had. Only a couple of staff members were even remotely welcoming, the rest acted as if they couldn’t care less. Compared to a hotel like Royal Cliff Grand Pattaya, this place deserves 0 stars. The service was absolutely nonexistent.

At checkout, I accidentally left some items in the room. Instead of doing the bare minimum and bringing them down, they told me to go get them myself while my taxi was waiting outside and I had luggage in hand! And guess what? Their bellboy was already inside the room and could’ve easily handled it. Unbelievable!

On top of that, they charged me 4500 Baht for just two nights more expensive than Diamond Cliff Resort and Spa, and for what? Absolutely not worth it. Complete waste of money and a total disappointment.

Construction all around the facility. Heavy trucks coming and going on the dangerous narrow road all day long. No good restaurant choices nearby. Tiny balcony. No Thai themed art or photos. Finished the stay with the front desk saying a hand towel was missing. It wasn’t! Bad experience… will not go back….

We were disappointed by the location as not much close by. There is a small snack bar and currency exchange virtually next door but not much else. The hotel does run a shuttle bus to local shops and bars at Boat Avenue which is about 10 minute walk away. It also runs a shuttle to the beach, a similar 10 minute walk. You need to book your journey and make sure you book your return trip.
The breakfast had good choices. We only ate once in the evening at the restaurant and the food was not great. We had a pizza and a calzone and left most of these as the dough on neither was properly cooked and both lacked seasoning. Our room was a Deluxe Suite Room which was a reasonable size with a small balcony overlooking the car park. You couldn’t comfortably sit out there due to the heat from the air conditioning unit. The bed was small but comfortable. You could use your Netflix login on the Smart TV. There was a couch to sit on in front of TV. Good sized fridge for water and beers. Some basic dishes provided in kitchen area. Room was clean. The pool area is small and shaded by the buildings, trees and foliage and there are few sun beds. We did not use the pool. We booked as part of a package but felt the hotel offered good value overall.

Coming from a beach hotel in krabi to here was a bit of a disappointment, the hotel is situated in an area that will probably in 10 years be vibrant and buzzing. There is currently a lot of construction happening around the hotel,

Rooms are compact but nice and clean and have everything you may need. We did not really have a view, if anything from our room just basically a construction site. Air conditioning was very noisy internally and externally. I would ask for a pool side view if you choose to stay here. The balcony was cramped with the air con taking up a lot of space and there was no drying rail to hang clothes.

Stayed bed and breakfast, the breakfast buffet had plenty of choice and something for everyone. Had a meal here which was unsatisfactory, not as described in the menu and under cooked.

Hotel offers a free shuttle service which is really a god send, which you need to book in advance there and back. The shuttle will take you down to the beach, which is the safest route as there are no paths to walk down to it. The shuttle will also take you to boat avenue where there are bars, restaurants and shops a plenty. This area appears to be up and coming and the place to really go, whilst staying here.

Staff pleasant and helpful and could not fault.

When we come to Phuket this is our regular stop over. We usually book through air bnb so can’t comment on the services like check in ect. Only about the resort itself.
The location is great (short drive to Bang Tao beach) and everything you could need is nearby. The kids love the pool and although it gets a bit cold they can spend hours in there. The water is always cleaned to a very high standard and the surrounding areas are immaculate.
The showers/ toilets by the pool are smelly but it doesn’t matter really because you can just shower in your room. The sauna is usually turned off and the gym is a bit out dated.
The staff are generally very kind and the security guard at the entrance is always happy.
My only BIG issue with this place is some of the security guards. They are so quick to tell children off around the pool for just being children.
My daughter learned to swim on holiday and was so excited when she swam across the pool, she laughed and shouted ‘Horay’ and the security guard told her to ‘shhhh’. 🫤😒
If the resort is going to claim to be ‘family friendly’ you cannot have people telling the kids off for being happy in the middle of the day. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Second stay at the Diamond Resort, very well received by the staff of the departments.

Mr. Haenggi, the director shows a very nice remarkable social proximity with customers, always pleasant to ask if everything goes well as well as the director of relations with customers and the famous Mme Suttida Nahka, impeccable.

Regarding the catering center, there are good potentials, but more fresh dishes in accordance with the hot climate would be welcome while obviously respecting the chef's card where there are good things to eat 10/10

I encourage potential customers to try Diamond which is strategically well placed 2 minutes from the sea and shops.

A hotel also where we sleep in peace is already 50% satisfaction and this is the case for the Diamond Resort.

No problem with Diamond but that solutions

Ton was a joy to work with and he scheduled a tour with Elephants, going on a boat to see the islands (and kayak) and we took his tour of the old town.

Brilliant hotel, very clean staff super polite & friendly, Ton is so lovely & the guy on the gate & the shuttle driver! Bed was really comfy, shower was great, super close to the beach and they offer shuttle for free from 8:00am to 9:30pm which is very handy!

Returned after spending the Christmas and New Year at this hotel. A thoroughly enjoyable experience from the start to finish. The staff are extremely polite and helpful, they will go out of their way to provide the necessary information etc. Have to mention Nook who spent lots of time explaining what and how we may want to approach certain excursions etc or go to certain locations. He always did this with a smile.
The rooms are a little smaller than what they look like on the pictures but overall very comfortable and clean.
There is a daily shuttle bus to the bangtao beach and to boat avenue. Where you can walk across the road from boat avenue to port phuket etc. It would be better if this continued to maybe a little later as last bus is 9pm.
The infusion restaurant is not very big but always had spaces and the breakfast buffet is very very good. There is a small cafe / restaurant literally outside the hotel which is great value for money.
I really can't fault the hotel or its location. Would definitely return.
