Kyoto Kamanza Hotel

Wonderful, small cosy hotel. Room and bathroom large for Japanese standards. Central location, in a quiet side street

Hotel is located close enough to subway. There are two 7-11 near by. Most places took a longer walk or need for public transportation. Hotel was nice and clean. Easy to get in an out, felt secure as it was a smaller Hotel and limited guests, meaning very quiet. Room was as expected for a Japanese hotel. We had 3 beds and it was sufficient for our small family of 3. Lights were adjustable. Only a few outlets so come prepared if you have many needing to charge items. There is not much space for clothing storage. Small closet held 2 suitcases, small tables and chair took up some space which we would have preferred more walking space. Nice accomadation.

Located on a quiet street within easy walking distance to great pizza and transportation. Many little spots to eat nearby. Hotel is small with large, comfortable, quiet rooms great to come back to after long days.

Fairly new boutique hotel with spacious rooms in a very quiet residential area yet close to Nijo Castle. Bus stops and a metro station were within easy walking distance. There are also a grocery store, a 7/11 and a bakery nearby so we bought everything for breakfast there. There is a small fridge in the room which is very convenient.
There are two lists of local restaurants provided in the room - one for breakfast and one for dinner. I studied one for dinner and picked a local izakaya specializing in seafood (sushi, obviously). We didn't want to go far for dinner so that was a very nice recommendation from the hotel.
We very much recommend this hotel.

Boutique style hotel in a quiet street. Ideally located close to a subway station and walking distance to Nijo Castle. The bed is 10/10 so comfortable. This was the biggest hotel room we had during our stay in Japan. Reasonably priced and great value. Highly recommend.

Beautiful boutique hotel. Only a handful of rooms and so quiet. Loads of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. We were fortunate to book room 203 which is the suite and were genuinely blown away by how well it was appointed. Will definitely stay here again if we return to Kyoto

Well located with 5min walk from the main transportation lines (buses and subway)

Was well welcomed by the host and the check in check out were easy.

漆塗りの家具を設え、日本らしさを感じられる室数の限られた静かなプチホテルです。なので、運営も少ない人数でされていらっしゃるので、お部屋に備品（寝巻）が置き忘れていたり、チェックアウトもお部屋キーカードを箱に入れるだけでフロントに誰もいなくて少し不安になりました

Charming property in a residential neighborhood. Quiet and serene with an attentive staff.

It was nice and clean the rooms are big and the bed is nice. The staff is ready to help and made our stay nice. The location of the hotel is also good 1,5 km to centrum

Amazing bed and comfy sheets and blankets. Central to everything we needed too and staff where super friendly and helpful

予約時点で畳のある部屋だと思って予約したが、案内された部屋には畳がなかった。予約ページの部屋写真はその部屋の写真に絞って欲しい。部屋の設備として、エアコン、風呂、部屋の至る所にゴミが落ちていたりホコリが大量に残っていた。風呂の衛生面に懸念が残るほどの汚さで、子連れだったが慎重に利用することが求められた。

Room is very spacious and comfortable. Free UCC coffee provided and also green tea. Walking distance to the train station. Walking distance to many food outlets. Nearby to Nijo castle, can walk to the castle. There are many convenience stores nearby to buy food.

とても落ち着いて清潔でした。
過剰な事もなくゆっくり過ごせました。
次回も是非利用させていただきたく思います。

We had a great large room very convenient and comfortable beds all very clean.The locations was excellent . Air conditioning and bathroom

This was such a great find! While a small, boutique hotel, the level of service was great and the room was incredible. The room was definitely large by Japan hotel standards. The bathroom was great with great temperature and water pressure. We also loved that the hotel was in a quiet neighborhood while conveniently close to the train station, convenience stores, and Nijo Castle. We highly recommend this hotel!

De kamer was keurig, doch stoffig op onderstel van de tafel en op tafel bij waterkoker.
Keurig personeel en behulpzaam.

Er is een rokers kamer op de begane grond aanwezig. Deze deur zat vlak bij onze kamer en als iemand daar net gerookt had, hing de geur in de hal voor onze deur. Bij binnenkomst roken we de nicotine geur regelmatig. Zeker niet prettig als astma patiënt. En meeroken voor kind.

Lovely quiet hotel close to Nijo Castle (4 blocks) and 20 mins walk from Nishiki Market; great location. Minimal staff and more self service but that makes for an unbeatable price for the quality of room. The room is huge, full size king bed, bathtub and closet. Has a beautiful combination of traditional and modern design touches like Japanese screens and dimmable mood lighting in the headboard. 24/7 locked lobby entrance for extra security too. Would absolutely recommend!
