Authentic Stay in the Heart of Amasya’s Old Town

* Outstanding location right in the center of Amasya’s historic district, perfect for exploring the city on foot.
* Depending on the room, you can enjoy views of either the river or the lively pedestrian street.
* The owner is very friendly and welcoming. He meets guests on arrival, guides them to the parking area, and even helps with luggage.
* Traditional Turkish breakfast, with freshly made omelets available upon request.
* The hotel also sells local souvenirs, tea, and other regional products, adding to the authentic experience.
* The hotel is located on one of the busiest pedestrian streets in the Old Town, so there are many tourists passing by throughout the day. Some guests may enjoy the lively atmosphere, while others may prefer a quieter location.

Cons:

* It is not possible to drive directly to the hotel entrance. Parking is located about 50–100 meters away, which may be inconvenient if you have a lot of luggage.
* The building is quite old, and it shows. The décor is very traditional, with an Ottoman-style interior that may not appeal to everyone.
* The bathroom fixtures are dated, and the lighting throughout the hotel is rather dim. These are typical characteristics of a historic building rather than signs of poor maintenance.

Pros:

Lokalizacja bardzo dobra, nad rzeką, w centrum. Pokój czysty, mały, ale z pięknym widokiem. Właściciel bardzo miły, uczynny, mówi po angielsku. Podjechał po nas i poprowadził do hotelu. Śniadanie też bez zarzutu. Bardzo polecam.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The owner was incredibly kind, helpful, and always smiling. He even came to pick us up with his tuk-tuk and guided us to a suitable parking spot for our car, which was greatly appreciated.
The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the Old Town, in a beautiful historic Ottoman building, which adds a lot of charm to the experience. Our luggage was also carried upstairs for us, which was a nice touch.
The breakfast was delicious, fresh, and varied. There was a great selection of food, including plenty of fresh vegetables and fruit every morning. Both the room and the bathroom were very clean throughout our stay.

Cons:

If I had to mention any minor drawbacks, I would say that there was no iron in the room, and I found it a bit unusual that the bed had only duvet covers without actual duvets inside. However, these were only small details and did not affect our overall experience.

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft in einem alten Haus. Etwas kleine Zimmer, aber sehr sauber und alles notwendige ist da.
Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Frühstück erfüllt alle Wünsche.

Cons:

Die Parksituation ist schlicht eine Katastrophe. Es wird zwar darauf hingewiesen, dass man vor der Ankunft anrufen soll, aber es sollte beschrieben werden, wo man warten muss, um nicht in Schwierigkeiten zu kommen.

Pros:

We liked everything. Mr Ensar, our host, was super helpful and went out of his way to make our stay comfortable and memorable. He even took us for a tour in his golf cart around the city. We will definitely be back to stay in this beautiful lodge. The location is also superb abd so was breakfast.
