The Ridge Residence

We loved our stay at the Ridge Residence. It has great views and very good restaurant! The staff are super helpful and friendly and huge thanks to Umesh and Anna. They made our stay extra special!

This isn't luxury accommodation but it was squeaky clean and the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and efficient. Top rate! Room was a good size with a large bathroom. Good wifi. Beautiful view, quiet and lovely. The location pretty much requires renting a car, which was reasonably priced and efficient. Plan to go out for lunch and dinner.

They didn’t find our booking and didn’t have the room we booked, but they didn’t charge us for the food and drinks that were not included in the reservation, so overall it was ok.
The room itself had a leak from the shower and a broken trash can, but the view from the balcony was beautiful, the room was clean and convenient.
The service itself is very slow though.

The Ridge Residence is an excellent hotel and I had a great comfortable stay. Please be aware this is not a beach front hotel, But is centrally located on the island of Mahe with easy access to explore the whole island and all the beaches. Close to Victoria, Eden Island and the Airport, which is good for Business travellers, and tourists alike. The hotel is close to local bus routes so you can easily travel into town and other locations on the island. The view from the hotel looks out towards Victoria across to Eden Island and out over the Ocean which is unique to this Hotel and can also be enjoyed from being in the pool. Rooms have great silent air conditioning and a great shower with all the amenities you would find in any decent 3 star hotel and beyond. A great breakfast to set you up for the day with dinner available in the evening if you need it. A small but very comfortable hotel with great friendly, knowledgeable and attentive staff. If you would like to experience true seychellois creole hospitality away from the usual worldwide corporate hotel chains. without a doubt stay here, and from here enjoy Seychelles..

Close to the City of Victoria. Quiet location on the hill with a spectacular view of harbor and city and islands.

This property is a little small but very nice. The view is amazing! The staff is outstanding and very friendly. They are willing to assist you with any needs! I will stay here again if I had the chance!

Stay was very pleasant, located on hillside close to Eden island.
Staff were very helpful in arranging transport to get around.

I stayed at Ridge Residence 2 nights before a Varity Cruise.
Friendly staff. Lovely girls in the dining room.
Hotel is only 8 rooms, with view of city and pool outside lower rooms.
If you prefer no stairs, you can ask for bedroom on top floor which is near the dining room.
To get to the lower rooms, there are steps and no railing.
The owner said, he would add soon.
The food was delicious. Large breakfast included, eggs, bacon, toast and delicious coffee. The service was exceptional.
We took a taxi to town hotel charged it to the room.
We came back by local bus, cost 0.50.
The walk from the bus is not long from bus stop, but uphill.
You can go to many beaches from the bus station.Locals are very helpful.
The fish market was great fun.
Hotel was reasonable.
When I returned from cruise, they allowed me to rest at the hotel.
You must have the local currency, they do not take euros in town.
Hotel called for a taxi to take me to the airport.
I would highly recommend this small hotel.

We stayed here as a family of three for one night prior to catching an early morning flight. The hotel was basic but clean. Exactly what we needed. It had a lovely little swimming pool with a terrace overlooking Victoria. The sunrise in the morning from the terrace was spectacular. We ate in the restaurant, which was fine, and booked an airport transfer through the hotel and everything went smoothly.

I am traveling Seychelle now and had time other hotels.
I can make sure you will be satisfied with this hotel for food as well.
Reasonable price and good quality!
