Pros:

Soggiorno davvero di ottima qualità. La mia famiglia si è trovata benissimo.
Un grazie speciale al proprietario, Mario Barbini, per la sua grande disponibilità e gentilezza. Nonostante l’assenza dell’ascensore, ci ha aiutato con entusiasmo a portare i bagagli, cosa che abbiamo apprezzato molto.
L’hotel è molto pulito e confortevole, perfetto anche per chi viaggia con bambini.

You are not just staying somewhere — you are living in a real palazzo.

Space everywhere: to the left, to the right, high ceilings, rooms that seem to continue forever. At some point you may even wonder if you accidentally rented half of a Renaissance palace.

Everything is arranged with great taste and harmony. No artificial “hotel design” — it feels authentic, elegant and very Italian.

But if your dream interior is IKEA minimalism, flat-pack furniture and Allen keys, it’s probably better to walk past this place.

Here the furniture has history.
And most likely it was already here when IKEA was still just an idea in Sweden.

The place needs a thorough cleaning top to bottom. The terrace (another set of stairs up from an apartment on the second floor) is not worth it. Kitchen not at all equipped (no towels, filthy under the couch cushions, mold, etc.
