Admittedly, a love hotel won’t be the ideal lodging for a lot of travelers, but after a week of walking the Tokaido Road and staying in conventional hotels, it was fun to stay in a room designed to entertain its guests. I was able to really unwind.
The room service menu had a humble selection of good food at reasonable prices. The food itself is similar to what you might find at a family restaurant. It wasn’t gourmet, but it wasn’t fast food either.
A note of warning, to enjoy this room it’s best if you can read Japanese.
Due to the need to protect privacy, guests are locked in their rooms using a remote locking system that the front desk controls. If you need to leave your room during your stay, you call the front desk and ask them to unlock your door. Upon returning, you call the front desk from a lobby service phone to be let in. It felt a little strange to have my movement policed, but it was only for one night.

Thought adults only ment no little kids running around, but this is an intimate time hotel. Big rooms but no keys and reception has to unlock room for you.

Well located for the Castle, easy to get to from the station. Room ok size. Bit of a different setup for arriving at the hotel and getting into your room due to the 'Love hotel' aspect! Need a translation app to get by here.
Bed very soft, very uncomfortable. Lots of electricals in room that were unable to turn off so made very annoying humming noise all night, also there was a very noisy rattling all night as if a noisy trolley was constantly passing - we think this was the old fashioned 'whoosh tube' communication system. Breakfast poor first morning and didn't even arrive the second morning.
