Home away from home.
Pros:

The location, rooms, hospitality, food, atmosphere and super helpful and friendly staff make it an exceptional experience.

Amazing hotel that really shines because of the wonderful staff
Pros:

Everything about this hotel was amazing. The room was incredibly comfortable and a nice place to rest after exploring the city. The location was great too, since it was just on the edge of Thamel. It felt less hectic, but it was still close to the action.

The biggest asset, however, was the staff. Each person I interacted with was friendly and helpful. When I had an accident and needed help, a staff member offered to pick something up at a pharmacy for me. It was so nice as a tourist to have that kind of support.

A very comfortable hotel in a quiet street but close to all the sights in Tamal.
Pros:

Very good buffet breakfast and a wide choice of meals for dinner.
Staff were very helpful in organising taxis and and suggestions for sights to see.

Cons:

Bathroom is a bit dated and quality of shampoos, etc were basic.

This is the best boutique hotel I've ever stayed in, in Nepal and in other countries.

Pros:

I liked everything about this place but especially the staff. They were amazing and kind and helpful. The food was excellent. They have a great chef who prepared delicious meals. The location was right on Thamel so very convenient and quiet away from the noisy streets. If I come back to Kathmandu, no doubt this is the place I want to stay. Super clean room and great value.

Pros:

Kumari Boutique Hotel is my go-to in Kathmandu. I’ve stayed in another hotel that costs around the same but I’ve had far better experiences staying at Kumari Boutique. Lovely staff, great breakfast, great room, I really can’t think of anything negative.
