Pros:

Laska hotel has a great location. From the terrace and some of the rooms, there are beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. An area around hotel is easy to walk. The staff is extremely nice and helpful.

Cons:

The towels and bed linens have clearly seen better days. They were no longer white, but greyish and full of stains. Even though they had been washed and were technically clean, they didn’t feel that way. Upon request, the staff kindly brought us replacements without any issue, but unfortunately, those were only slightly better than the originals. In the end, we decided to use our own towels we had packed.
The cleanliness of the room was also rather superficial—there was visible dust on ledges and other surfaces. The curtains were definitely stained too. The bathroom had no ventilation, which caused a wet smell in the room every time we entered.
On the bright side, breakfast offered a great variety of options. However, the coffee tasted like instant coffee—we couldn’t even finish it, which is a real upset. Indonesia is one of the world’s top coffee producers, and in Europe, Indonesian coffees are among the most expensive. It’s a bit sad how poorly it’s sometimes prepared and served in its own country.

Business Trip to Sukabumi
Pros:

Excellent service by all the staff.
Food wise during breakfast got plenty of variety.
Nice restaurant with great outdoor space beside the pool.
Spacious and Clean room. Modern meets local design.
Overall best hotel in Sukabumi by far.
Will come back again during visit to Sukabumi.
