It was a nice stay, we walked a lot, surrounding area is just a breathtaking.
Pros:

Very friendly staff, nice collection of local beers in the bar, good place to watch football. Location is just perfect in a very center of Callander.

Cons:

Windows are blocked from opening more than 15 centimeters for "safety", which makes air quite stale in the small room. Room is too small for longer stay, impossible to unpack for a couple. Breakfast is too monotonous, coffee is terrible.

La posizione è centrale.
C'è il pub sotto dove c'è un cuoco meraviglioso, il loro Pie è il più buono di tutta la Scozia!!
Camera grande, letto comodo.

Cons:

Le tende oscuranti non oscurano molto.
Le camere non sono insonorizzate quindi si sentono i rumori della strada e delle persone in corridoio... ma anche questo è caratteristico!

I had been camping, which was cleaner, more comfortable and better value than this hotel.
Pros:

The chap serving breakfast was friendly.

Cons:

Room was grubby, headboard still had dandruff on from last guest. Bathroom tired, shower so tiny. Sheets crumpled. Hallways too hot. Although they get me a room at the back to be quiet, it wasnt really as could hear music being played out the back. Breakfast was from the freezer/microwave - would have been better to get a filled roll from the lovely bakery down the road.

Comfortable and affordable - except for the bar measures and prices.
Pros:

The hotel was central to the town. It was clean, tidy and comfortable. The meals are pub style and good value. Staff were friendly.

Cons:

Being central was a convenient but it was on the Main Street and they traffic noise in the morning was annoying. We had dinner in the restaurant/bar but they couldn’t come up with any English mustard; sorry we don’t have any was the reply. Drink prices were a bit OTT.
