Cons:

Breakfast service was slow because the poor waitress was on her own and every cup of coffee herself.

They need a buffet for guests to help themselves at least for hot drinks juice etc. It would speed things up, especially for people on business need to get off early

A lovely hotel with nice staff.
Pros:

The breakfast was great, though I think the bacon isn’t the same as it has been on previous visits (we visit every other year) as I remember it being super thick cut. But it’s a tiny gripe, the breakfast was still delicious and 9/10 lovely. Also most of the staff are really nice, and super friendly

Cons:

The corridors leading to the rooms feel a bit dated but not in a rustic way, it just feels a bit old fashioned. Not an issue just an observation

Simply great - the best overnight stay I’ve yet found in the area.
Pros:

We’ve been coming to the area to visit family for over 20 years. This wasn’t the cheapest overnight stay (nor the most expensive) but it was the best overall experience (yet).

Booked for B&B, and reserved table for dinner. Online booking easy and excellent follow up with welcome emails.

Quiet location - not aware of noise from road or even car park despite our room looking out over it.

Smiling welcome
Old fashioned key for room - not card entry.
Fresh, clean and spacious room with soft seating by the window, and comfy bed with deep pillows
Thermostat controlled radiator rather than noisy air handling system
Sparkling clean bathroom with large walk-in shower and ample hot water.

Excellent two-course Sunday evening pub meal and great value for money at less than £60 with drinks, for the two of us. Soup and arancini for starters and delicious traditional roast beef dinners to follow (vegetables particularly tasty but didn’t stint on the meat). I liked that the roast dinner came in different size options but despite ordering the smallest plate, I couldn’t find room for pudding. A good range of drinks on offer but disappointed the Marstons Pedigree had run out. Fresh flowers on table a nice touch.

Breakfast was waitress served (friendly and attentive) ample (in quantity and choice) and freshly cooked.

The receptionist was amazing, super friendly and offered us a complimentary room upgrade!
I'm so glad I got to check-in when I did as she made our stay so much better ensuring we had the best room for a good night sleep considering I wasn't feeling my best.I truly appreciate it and the bedding was so soft and comfy!
Also must note the food at the restaurant was very tasty, served big portions as well as good prices, really pleased with our dinner and how cozy every bit of the property is.

Cons:

Only thing I can think of was the kettle in the room was not as clean as I'd hoped for.

Everything, great location, very clean good food and excellent staff

Cons:

We were a little disappointed that it was advertised as breakfast included, but on the actual booking it wasn't and cost us an additional £12 each.

Clean and comfortable. Good value.
Pros:

Large bedroom with 2 arm chairs. Comfortable bed. Large and attractive dining room but we didn’t have an evening meal. Excellent breakfast with good choice all nicely cooked to order. Overall we were impressed with our one night stay and would definitely recommend.
