Location and it was cool in inside, the beds were comfortable and clean.
No facilities were open so no pub or restaurant, however we found another restaurant 5 minutes walk in the village.
The Royal Arms is set in a beautiful location with views across the countryside, it is a peaceful and charming place to stay. Some may say it is outdated but we felt that the older decor added to its character. The shower was hot and we had plenty of space for the family. We would stay again if passing.
It is also in close proximity to the Battle of Bosworth Heritage Site and museum which is definitely worth a visit, there is a lovely cafe/restaurant there.
The cleaning could have been to a higher standard, an extra bit of dusting/cobweb removal wouldn't hurt. More bottled water in the room for 5 would be great.
Location was close to an event we were attending for a couple of days. There was also plenty to do in the area and Sutton Cheney was well off the main roads which was nice.
Our room could have done with a bit of TLC, handle missing off toilet (just a big bolt sticking out), shower tricky to get up to temperature. Room was nothing like the advert, don't expect a four-poster or tester bed, just a double cottage bedroom.
Location and free parking. Easy access to room
Room didnt look like pictures, room was cold and not very welcoming.
Comfy and lovely location and cosy settings
Shower was small and weak. TV was abit small
Beautiful setting
No staff, dated property needs a complete refurbishment to bring it upto date
Well me and my partner have been there a couple of times and we were impressed ..
Self check in, the property was clean and the bed was particularly comfortable.
Unfortunately not something we normally have to worry about but given the weather it would have been nice to have a fan in the room, also being able to use the dressing table as a dressing table rather than have the TV on there.
It was good value for money, comfortable and clean and a good location for me
There are no staff manning the place and they ignore any contact whether that be via email or phone which I find ignorant and rude
Everything was shit down the pictures on booking.com do not reflect what you get and if you complain to booking.com they do nothing and say they have ti wait fir the company to give you a refund, yet they are the people advertising the room
Surroundings rooms coldness
Poor management. No food. Broken plumbing. Ghost town at night.
Not great hotel reception closed as well as no bar or food due to refurbishment
Room was fine but no bath
Location was amazing
Duvet and mattress cover had large blood stains on.
Found after my nights sleep which left me feeling discusting
The location and the courtyard set up.
Cobwebs, so little tea and coffee bits, radiators not in during night and the portable heater was faulty and dangerous stated for 1 minute and turned off. Inside the heater sparking and dangerous. Water in morning was tepid. No members of staff onsite the whole time there. So couldn’t speak to anyone about issues. Sent messages to place to find out how to book in and still haven’t received reply. The whole play needs updating. Furniture from Mid century.
