The room was really spacious, very clean and everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided.
The kitchen was very functional and was equipped with everything we needed.
It is a real home away from home and was a very inviting space to come home to after busy days.
It was great that there was a fabulous Irish Bar just a couple of doors down.
The girls on reception were very friendly and responsive.
There were really no negatives.
The location was great with lots of transport options close by.
The only negatives (minor) were the very unfriendly security guard who was on duty in the evenings and the creaky elevators- but the elevator issue was being addressed.
I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Hotel 17 John in New York City! The location truly couldn’t be better — perfectly situated with incredible access to multiple subway lines, making it effortless to get anywhere in Manhattan or Brooklyn and reach all the major sights quickly and easily. Getting to and from JFK was just as convenient thanks to the seamless connection via the AirTrain and the A line.
What really stood out was the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. No matter the time or request, they were always there with a smile and ready to assist, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
The rooms are another highlight — surprisingly spacious for Manhattan, very well-equipped, and thoughtfully designed, offering a level of comfort that exceeded expectations.
On top of that, everything you could possibly need is right outside the door: great shopping, restaurants, cafés, and dinner spots all within easy walking distance.
I can highly recommend Hotel 17 John — it’s the perfect base for exploring New York City while enjoying comfort, convenience, and outstanding service!
Nothing to complain! Maybe housekeeping could come more often, but I'm sure you can ask for it. I didn't! So nothing to complain about this.
Great location, right beside Fulton Center. Also very quiet considering the location. The room was a great size, well equipped with kitchen equipment, and very comfortable overall.
The overall amenities were excellent. I was very impressed with the laundry room and the well equipped and modern gym.
The staff were very helpful and attentive.
Great value for money, I would strongly recommend 17John for anyone visiting New York!

Das Klappbett im kleinen Schlafzimmer. Die Matratze war sehr dünn, so dass man das Gestell spürte. Leider sehr unbequem
La posizione è ottimale, con la stazione della metropolitana a 200 metri. Vicinissimi punti per mangiare qualcosa di veloce, o per comprare altro da cucinare (Whole Foods a 500 metri). La dimensione dell'appartamento (non è semplicemente una camera) consentono soggiorni anche lunghi, vista la presenza di una spaziosa cabina armadio. Personale cortese, pulizia più che accettabile.
La rumorosità a New York è normale, tenetene conto se credete che vi possa recare fastidio. Asciugamani consegnati più che velocemente non appena richiesti, ma forse un cambio giornaliero sarebbe da prevedere.
Es una verdadera joya!!! Excelente precio para lo que ofrecen. Un apartamento muy amplio y moderno, algo difícil de conseguir en NYC. Cuenta con una cocina perfecta para resolver comidas prácticas. El detalle de la cafetera con abastecimiento de café colombiano es un detalle único! La lavandería, el gym y el lounge para espera, son un plus muy importante, todo está diseñado con detalle, aquí nada es improvisado ni descuidado. La ubicación es perfecta. A solo unas cuadras del Oculus y Memorial 9/11. A una cuadra de la Estación de Metro Fulton donde pasaban varias de las líneas principales. En la misma calle se consiguen varios restaurantes abiertos hasta la media noche. Y justo debajo hay un Duane reade para compras básicas como huevos, pan y aseo básico.
No dudaremos en regresar para nuestra próxima visita!
Die Lage war unfassbar gut. Fussläufig sehr viel erreichbar und die nächste Metro Station war keine 2min entfernt mit sehr guter Anbindung an alle Sehenswürdigkeiten. Das Apartment hatte die perfekte Größe und Ausstattung für einen Städtetrip. Trotz der zentralen Lage sehr ruhige Umgebung.
Nur Kleinigkeiten: Das Licht im Schrank ging leider trotz geschlossener Tür nicht aus und hat nachts entsprechend etwas gestört. Der Kühlschrank war ebenfalls etwas zu laut.
Location was perfect for us with easy access to subway. Room size for family of four was ideal with lots of space and comfort.
Based on value for money I didn’t dislike anything.

17 John ia the perfect place to stay while visiting NY. Location is amazing with easy access to retail, dining, transport and markets.
The room is spacious, clean and the kitchen is well appointed for a short stay. It would have been even better if there was a toaster.
The Bathroom is roomy, very clean, great hot water and has quality shower products.
The guest laundry is a bonus and so convenient. 4 new washers and driers are available for guests with laundry detergent provided.
Minor issues that we notified management about were dealt with promptly and with a smile!
17 John is like a little home away from home!
We would definitely stay here again.
If I'm being picky, I'd say the hair drier was pretty old and inefficient. There were a few minor issues but nothing that would impact your stay. A great place overall. .
