We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the San miguel Hotel in althea.
The hotel/ restaurant area has lovely old world spanish charm and ambience. The room we had was a double deluxe. It was modern and very clean with lovely complimentary toiletries, but the icing on the cake for us was the fabulous balcony( more like a terrace tbh) overlooking the sea. Absolutely gorgeous view.
The restaurant is definitely worth booking as the food is delicious and very traditional spanish.
The staff are lovely, very friendly and welcoming...we can't wait to stay there again!

Perfect few days away
Pros:

We paid a little extra for sea view and it was definitely worth it. We were right on the seafront. The room was very clean. We didn’t eat at the hotel but it did seem to be very busy. Would definitely come again.

Cons:

There was nothing we disliked but a few extra hangers would have been better.

Bonito hotel pero falta personal
Pros:

La ubicación es muy buena, primera línea frente al mar. La habitación estaba correcta.

Cons:

No me gustó el trato del personal, tanto pata hacer el check in y el check out. Son los meseros del bar que hacen este trabajo, mientras atienden las mesas apurados y corriendo intentan atenderte. Totalmente despersonalizado.

Sijainti, rannalla, josta helppo liikkua vanhaan kaupunkiin. Huoneen ikkuna suoraan merelle. Siisti ja puhdas huone.

Want a lovely place to stay while in Altea when this is it 100% the place to be!!
Pros:

This hotel is lovely, small and perfectly placed...it has what I would call the best possible view...it was just lovely. Exceed out expectations on so many levels. The food was fantastic!! I am so missing it already!!

There was nothing to dislike!!

Para volver una y otra vez!
Pros:

Hemos estado a principios de junio, tubieron el detalle de darnos una habitacion frente al mar por la que no habiamos pagado.La ubicacion perfecta, frente al mar, y con el casco antiguo accesible a pie. Fuimos en coche y encontramos aparcamiento gratuito sin problema.El personal servicial y eficiente.

Cons:

La recepcion mezclada con el servicio del restaurante.

Alles! Schlichtweg unerträglicher Aufenthalt. Zimmer straßenseitig, vielbefahrene Durchgangsstrasse, auch nachts extrem laut. Zudem Nikotingestang - Raucherzimmer. Kommentar des Betreibers: Alles Natur, man könne nichts machen"
