Originelles Landhotel mit sehr gutem Service
Pros:

Sehr ruhige ländliche Lage. Schöne Terrasse mit natürlichem Schatten großer alter Bäume.
Beim Frühstück Qualität vor Quantität. Sehr gutes Restaurant und insgesamt sehr guter Service. Wir haben nach 21.00 Uhr noch ein warmes Abendessen erhalten, obwohl die Küche eigentlich schon zu wahr. Das war Top!

Cons:

Leider war unser Zimmer im alten Gebäudeteil unterm Dach sehr warm. Im Sommer also eher nicht zu empfehlen.

Sehr freundliches und entgegenkommendes Personal an der Rezeption und im Restaurant. Schönes und gemütliches Ambiente im Restaurant und einen schönen Aussenbereich unter Linden. Speisekarte exklusiv und Gerichte mit viel Liebe zum Detail angerichteten sehr geschmackvoll.

Cons:

Unser Zimmer im alten Bereich sehr warm und es war trotz Ventilator (laut) in der Nacht unangenehm. Nun haben wir auch sehr heiße Tage über 30 Grad gehabt.

Für diese Preisklasse war das Zimmer zu einfach. Im Zuge der Modernisierung wurde wohl nur das nötigste gemacht.

Wir kommen gerne wieder
Pros:

Lage war etwas abseits aber das hat uns nicht gestört. Dafür war das Gebäude super schön.
Das Personal war super freundlich und nicht künstlich. Betten waren ok. Austattung der Zimmer angepasst dafür super sauber.
Das Restaurant bietet wirklich gute Küche.

Cons:

Mehr Auswahl beim Frühstück. Wir hatten mehr erwartet. Vor allem die "besseren" Brötchen waren sofort vergriffen.
Kissen waren nicht so meins.

Service und Verpflegung ausgezeichnet - Zimmerausstattung 'outdated'
Pros:

Sehr nettes und aufmerksames Personal. Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Hundenäpfe waren vorbereitet und mir wurde mit dem Gepäck geholfen. Das Essen war sehr fein und es war am Morgen ohne Probleme möglich, draussen auf der schönen Terrasse zu frühstücken. Wenn man in der Umgebung von Überlingen eine Unterkunft sucht, ist das Johanniter-Kreuz-Hotel sicher zu empfehlen.

Cons:

Die Ausstattung des Zimmers ist recht 'outdated'. Hier mal frischen Wind reinzubringen und die ollen Schlafzimmermöbel zu ersetzen wäre eine rechte Aufwertung. Die Matratze hingegen ist gut und ich habe ausgezeichnet geschlafen. Wirklich gestört hat mich allerdings, dass es nur verdunkelnde Vorhänge gab und keine dünnen Gardinen. Da der Nachbar freien Blick auf das Zimmer hat, war das etwas einschränkend.
