Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, Miguel, who greeted us with a friendly smile, helped us with local taxi bookings and was very easy to liaise with. On departure he kindly put our bags into the taxi without us even needing to ask! We had a lovely stay.

Cons:

Not the hotel's fault, but local taxis to Girona airport were on the pricey side (€100 minimum), recommend seeking out the local bus instead!

Sympathische Unterkunft in der Altstadt
Pros:

Freundliche und sympatische Gastgeber. Die Lage in der Altstadt und damit die Nähe zum Meer, zu vielen guten Restaurants und zu Läden, ist hervorragend. Trotz der zentralen Lage war es im Zimmer auch Nachts recht ruhig. Grosses, bequemes Doppelbett. Schöne Aussicht auf das Meer, d.h. die Bucht von Roses von der Zimmerterrasse aus. Gutes Frühstück, insbesondere Super-Kaffeemaschine, frisch gepresster O-Saft, Top-Rührei und erstklassige Nussmischung. Für 5 Euro pro 24 h kann man das Auto auf dem grossen, baumbestandenen Parkplatz direkt vor dem Hotel parken. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Der Ort L‘Escala ist eine sehr gute Wahl für einen vielseitigen Individual-Urlaub an einem sympathischen und gemütlichen Ort an der Costa Brava.

Cons:

Dass es im Badezimmer keinen Seifenspender und auf der Terrasse keinen Wäscheständer gab, sowie der eigenartige Geruch im Zimmer.
