Slamming of the doors, perhaps some slow closers

The hotel is a bit far from Niagara Falls, but there is a shuttle. We didn't see that information beforehand.

The staff wasn’t helpful towards tourists and didn’t seem eager to talk to us either.

Breakfast food and prep area was small and choices more limited than some other hotels

The area to get breakfast was very cramped and it was hard to get to anything with people waiting for the waffles in the way of everything.

This location advertises that they serve complimentary breakfast, which they do, to a large number of people staying at the hotel (at least when we were there). Planning for the breakfast area was done so poorly that they funnel everyone into a small ~10' x 12' area where the food is presented. It was absolute chaos!! There were people entering in a clockwise manner and some in a counter-clockwise manner and some hands reaching over hot waffle irons for food items. Because it was so many people clumped into a small food area the floors were as sticky as mouse traps. We opted out of this crazy. What poor planning. It is an accident waiting to happen. If you book this location for the breakfast, I would advise you temper your expectations.

That rude staff at the front desk. Let me explain. My family and I had a journey to visit the fall, came later on in the evening, and to our surprise, the room wasn't clean or anything done to the room. I called downstairs to talk to anyone at the front desk and when someone did answer, I explain my side as a guest and a paying customer about our room not being clean well he was a smart mouth tale, and not very helpful at all. He said to me, "Did you not see the sign when you checked in about the service being done, that you have to request it to be clean. Well, my family and I, after driving for 9 and a 1/2 hour, the least you can do is fill us in with all the details about your hotel. We booked this hotel for a vacation stay, and it almost felt like I was applying for a job. Overall, I would not be recommending this hotel to no one. Oh, and trying to get towels, you would be better off bringing your own towels. And, one more thing, please change those old tale furniture and in the lobby, and outside by the parking lot, clean the rooms better.

There were no trolleys available to carry the bags in the room. When asked for help, there was no support provided.

Washer and dryer, Because we need to pay and there’s no machine coins

Arrived Saturday, things were good. Sunday - Tuesday the ice machine did not work the remainder of our visit. Had to go to 1st floor for ice. We were on the 3rd, 2nd floor machine was also out of order., even after telling front desk on Sunday. Early Monday morning a couple argued and fought outside our window from 4:30am - 5:50am. I mentioned to the front desk why wasn't the police called after a certain amount of time and he claimed he didn't know such thing had occured. There was no incident report noted or filed. There was no way the front desk did not hear it. Our window was located in front of the hotel next to the entrance were the couple was fighting. Remember, we were on the 3rd floor.
Ironically enough, the couple that were fighting, came down and walked right passed us. I pointed them out and was told, I'll look into it but so you know, you are the only room that mentioned/complainted about the noise 😳. I took that statement as nothing less than an insult.
