Perfect stay in Speydide when you travel by train
Pros:

Our train from Edinburgh to Elgin delayed and I contacted the hotel about late arrival but the hotel staff was very understanding and accomodating. The room was very comfortable and clean. I had a wonderful stay.

Cons:

Nothing that I did not like about the hotel. Everything was perfect!

Excellent hotel, well worth the money to stay there.
Pros:

Well decorated clean room. All the hotel and restaurant staff we polite, friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Ideal location for the railway station and very close to the town centre. I would definitely stop there again.

Cons:

Minor thing, and I wouldn't call a thing I "didn't" like, but there was not kettle with tea or coffee in the room. I wouldn't let that effect my decision to stay there again though.

Would highly recommend this hotel and the area around the hotel for walking.

Nice enough for one evening, but overpriced compared to experiences we have had elsewhere.
Pros:

Pleasant staff, nice bar/restaurant area to sit in. Staff were very helpful when my wife called to see if daughter had left belongings in her room (she had and they very promptly forwarded them to us).

Cons:

Both rooms were very small and no frills, small TV, desk and chair. Initially thought there was no kettle/coffee supplies but found them hidden in the wardrobe. We had booked two double rooms, daughters room was slightly larger with bath and shower - myself and my wife were given smaller room with only a shower. Ours was a very noisy room, was kept awake with people walking around above us, and there was a lot of clattering and banging upstairs woke us in the morning, which was a shame as the bed itself was very comfortable.

Restaurant was almost great - but the lack of vegetarian options was very disappointing. Similarily the vegetarian options for breakfast were poor - if you are going to offer vegetarian sausages with the cooked breakfast please consider offering one of the many great options that are available NOT the cheap horrible ones which are basically made from fat.

10/10 in every aspect.
Pros:

stayed here for work for a few weeks at a time now and would say its absolutely brilliant, rooms are always spotless and the food is amazing, nothing is ever a problem no matter what member of staff you deal with, they are all very attentive and provide excellent service from the moment you arrive and the moment you leave. Looking forward to my next stay already.

Lovely period hotel.
Pros:

Great location with lovely rooms - the option to have your breakfast delivered to your room was great.

Cons:

The restaurant is a little expensive, there are no lifts and the desks in rooms have a glass top on them - making using a mouse with a laptop a challenge for business users.
