Fantastic Family Break with Brilliant Service
Pros:

I booked a two night Bed and Breakfast stay for me and my two teenage boys and we had a great stay!!! The Hotel was ideally situated with great access to the beach via the Zig Zag path and it was a great location for easy access to the town. The staff were so accommodating and really kind, and clearly take pride in ensuring you have a lovely stay. The breakfast service was excellent, you pre-order the evening before which ensures a seamless breakfast service and the breakfast itself was lovely and a great choice. We had the family room and it was very big. The beds were really comfortable and a great amount of tea and coffee were provided. The room had a sofa too which was a nice extra. The bathroom was very big, the shower could do with being changed but the baths we had were lovely and there was plenty of hot water. Great evening entertainment provided too including a quiz and bingo!!. A great location, a great hotel, great staff and a great stay was had!!

The location

Cons:

For the amount of money, it wasn’t worth it at all, the hotel is old and dirty and has a funky smell. Even the rooms looked nothing like the pictures, overall it was a bad experience.

Pleasant the lady with an accent I cannot place was amazing especially when serving breakfast there was a huge contrast
Pros:

Accessible to the beach which was good for us but unfortunately not for my mum who as accessibility issues and found the zig zag route down to the beach to much.

Cons:

It was pretty clean in the main areas of the room it could do with a little source up but it wouldn’t stop us staying there again. The window for breakfast and dinner could be a little bit longer.

The hotel decor was very old
The breakfast was shocking
Was asked the night before to choose what we wanted, and when we came down for breakfast we sat down and our full English was brought out within a minute of sitting down and was obvious that it had been cooked prior to us arriving and just sat keeping warm until we came to eat.
The toast rack had cold rock hard toast in, and the food was not nice at all.
We also ordered a continental breakfast which was suposed to include pastries and when we arrived the staff member said there was none and handed me a plate with a slice of cheese, a slice of ham, and a yoghurt on, so my daughter didn't eat.
We left after 1 mouthful of food.
This is not difficult to rectify, food should be served hot and fresh and not sitting for ages, if we had come down an hour later our food would have been even worse, as they do not know what tome you are coming to eat within the time frame.

Never again, but lovely location

Location !

Cons:

Extremely out dated, poor ventilation. Oder through the hotel. Bathroom extremely small. Bed and pillow uncomfortable couldn’t sleep! No AC

Breakfast was inedible, poor hygiene, poor handling of food.

Checked out a night early and got a room down the road at Travelodge!

Must say staff very friendly and kind

Felt like a care home that had been taken over and is not running as a hotel!
