Pros:

Lovely size room free parking always a plus

Cons:

The heating was on in the room, with no way of turning it down, so hot thru the night when sleeping. The cost of drinks at the bar, pub over the road half the price, £14.10 for 2 drinks.

Great stay
Pros:

Central to scarborough, room was spacious, large bed. Staff very helpful and pleasant, nice lounge.

Cons:

Full Yorkshire breakfast was excellent on day one but we chose the kipper and haddock on day 2, kipper very over cooked and unable to cut it, the haddock was extremely small portion.

good hotel, really friendly staff, breakfast is lovely
Pros:

Location is fantastic in Scarborough if your looking to go to both the seafront (5 - 10 mins walk) or to go shopping (1-5 mins), also a great starting point if travelling around the area, The hotels own car park is very handy and secure

Cons:

Could do with a little updating, but still clean and tidy.

The dreaded room 38 very hot can I open the windows due to the kitchen extraction system? Very noisy and permanent smells of food in the room not great somebody already put on avoid room 48 which obviously is directly above 38? Avoid

The hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff were very helpful.
Pros:

The location is good, very close to the cliff railway. We stayed three nights and ate in the hotel two nights. The food was good quality and value. There are other eateries close by for evening meals and breakfast but the hotel is best!

Cons:

The parking is free! It's not that I didn't like the parking , what's not to like about free parking but... it's around the corner down the hill. If you park in front of the hotel, there is a charge. If/when I stay again, I would pay for a short stay in the car park in front to the hotel and move the car when convenient. If you would like your car to be very safe, the car park in front of the hotel is not too expensive and it's very well lit.

Comfortable nights sleep but needs a deep clean and breakfast to be better

Didn't enjoy breakfast this stay very dry sone of it cold black pudding tasteless. Location good

Cons:

Cleanliness of hotel room not so good needs a deep clean skirting boards dirty dust everywhere mirrors dirty cleaner needs to get into nitty gritty parts not just a quick hoover.
