Advanced comfort!
Pros:

The hotel is strategic, easily accessible and is surrounded with many shops nearby. However, if you wish to go to the mall, you might need e-hailing services.

Cons:

I may sound like a typical Gen-z here but the TV channels were not interesting to me. There were no YouTube nor Netflix lmao but that's just my own preference.

Pros:

The accommodation fee is affordable, considering inflation around the world.
It is located in a very convenient area.
There are 99 Speedmart and 7‑Eleven, both of which are convenience stores, near the hotel.

Cons:

One of the issues I faced was that the ironing board is made of synthetic fiber, which is not resistant to the high temperatures of the iron.
Please confirm that we will be charged 100 MYR as compensation if we accidentally damage it.
In addition, sounds from the room can easily be heard from outside.

Die Zimmer sind ausreichend groß, die Betten bequem und sie verfügen über einen Sessel, einen kleinen Schreibtisch und einen kleinen Kühlschrank. Toll ist die Rooftopbar. Das Frühstücksbüfett war hervorragend und das Angebot außergewöhnlich vielfältig. Das IBIS-Styles liegt zwar abseits der Innenstadt, dadurch ist es aber etwas ruhiger. Zudem ermöglichen die Grab-Taxis günstigen Transport mit kurzen Wartezeiten. Während unseres Dreitagestrips nach Brunei konnten wir problemlos unnötiges Gepäck im Hoteldepot lassen.

Disappointing
Pros:

The beds were comfortable and rooms were reasonably sized.

Cons:

The breakfast was quite poor with lots of highly processed items (bread, pre-packaged waffles, chicken nuggets, etc.).

Amenities were not well-managed. Shower gel bottles were empty and toilet paper was not topped up.

The bigger concern was that we had to leave early, meaning that we did not use our final night stay. I asked the reception staff if we could have a refund for this night and was flatly told 'no' as we had booked with booking.com. When I contacted booking.com they told me the opposite - they would be willing to issue a refund but the hotel had refused. They reached out to the hotel to start the process, however, this was then followed by over a month of back and forth correspondence, with the hotel repeatedly delaying the matter on the basis that we had paid for the stay using contactless cards. In the end, I had to log a complaint with booking.com, who issued a refund in full. The attitude of the reception staff was deeply disappointing. We did not want to cut our trip short and it's a shame that they showed such little compassion.

KK trip with a fam of three
Pros:

For the price paid for two nights you cant complain much. The room was comfy and pretty much straight forward.

Cons:

First impression was not good. No water supply to the toilet seat, mini fridge wasnt getting cold and the safe box wasnt working. Eventually we got transferred to another room right away and the staff was ever so polite and warm.
