Ok for needs
Pros:

All ok
Adequate bed and facilities
The staff were excellent especially the bar person she went to a lot of trouble to accommodate my son arriving after the kitchen had closed and kept a meal warm

Cons:

Mattress spongy sinking in middle
Building looks tired in corridors and staircase but it is old

It was a really enjoyable stress free night, comfy bed, great shower, fab breakfast with great staff
Pros:

Generous portion at breakfast, of smoked salmon and scrambled egg with pot of tea including hot water and little jug of milk. I could also have had fruit, cereals and yogurt, along with fruit juice if preferred. There was also the full English but I didn’t opt for it.

Cons:

The room furnishings were a little shabby and dated, but still comfortable. Good bathroom.

Ideally situated with on site parking.
Pros:

Location was excellent for us, right in the town and a 5 minute walk to our daughters. Food was really good and generous portions at breakfast.

Cons:

Room a little tired, but very comfortable.

Friendly staff made us feel welcome. Fantastic breakfast - would highly recommend

Cons:

Some of the decor looks tired - old doors etc but this didn’t distract from a very pleasant stay

Cons:

The other guests extremely drunk outside my bedroom window shouting, screaming and swearing at midnight till 1.30am
Not the hotels fault however they were there guests and the hotel had a responsible to others

We would definitely stay here again, overall a lovely experience.
Pros:

Good restaurant with lovely staff. Enjoyable evening meal and breakfast. All staff throughout the hotel went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Good car park facility. Lovely old building with character - though it smelled a bit old and musty in some of the corridors!

Cons:

There was a noisy extractor fan somewhere that came on at various times through the night.

Pros:

The hotel was in a good location for my purpose of my trip. Breakfast was one of best I have had down this way. Staff where helpful , friendly and polite. The bath room was good,

I found the bed to be a bit lumpy and saggy on one size. But staying that I would still stay heare again
