Not good for any one, never stay such a place!!!!

Where to begin and where to end? Lets take it from the top. I booked a comfy double room with balcony. Since i wanted confirmation me and my girlfriend sent an email requesting booking confirmation of the said room. Someone replied to our email momentarily using bad english basically saying that when the guest will arrive we will show him our best room and that guest will be satisfied..since my flight was arriving very early in the morning, around 4 in the morning i foretold them about it adn they said no problem..but when i arrived the hotels door was closed..first time i see a hotel closing at 00:00..i was knocking on their door but no one was coming..it was like empty place..there was only one armenian number written..thank god the taxi driver helped me get in touch and later an old lady came and welcomed me..she was nice but she didnt check me in..didnt ask for any documents of any sort..she told me that she had been told to show me 3 rooms (the 1 i booked among them) and if i want i could choose either one of them..so naturally i chose the bigger one which was one category higher..HOWEVER before going in i asked her TWICE if i have to pay extra or if its just like the email said a "so called" upgrade..she told me that whatever the case i dont have to pay so i agreed...later i realised that the room suffered so much,,,dirty linen on the bed..a bottle of water balancing the fridge...the tap in the bathroom was broken..and the wate boiler was so noisy it was impossible to sleep..also in the room next to ours there was a very loud couple playing music until early 7 o clock in the morning..the next morning i asked the receptionist to take care of my room and she complied..the stuff was passive at best..very rude sometimes..and they dont speak english! they dont even greet firsthand..its like they dont want you there...later that night i went down to ask about dinner time and the girl at the reception told me out of nowhere that i have to change rooms..to go back to the room i booked even tho they themselves chose to upgrade me..and they also asked for extra money!!! and they said that even if i move to my original room that i still have to pay extra for one night the upgraded room...oh god..DONT GO THERE..VERY RUDE STAFF EVEN AGGRESSIVE SOMETIMES (NOT PHYSICALLY), DIRTY ROOMS, VERY BAD SOUNDPROOFING NON EXISTENT..STAFF DOESNT CARE ABOUT YOU, WITHOUT EVEN CHECKING ME IN, THEY ASK FOR MONEY AND EXTRA MONEY ABOUT SOMETHING THEY INITIATED FOR FREE..very bad experience since that was my first time in Armenia..not all of the staff was bad..the cleaning lady was nice..and one of the receptionists was at least somewhat helpful...however the hotel isnt even worth 1 star..

We arrived around 2pm and were "greeted" by a lady who spoke no English. A man arrived who eventually showed us to our room. No one speaks adequate English here, even though Armenian is a minority language. We were supposed to be in a "deluxe room" and had paid extra to have a "jetted tub." In reality, we had:

Old bedsheets with holes in
A broken lamp with broken socket
A fridge held up by a water bottle
A dirty shower with a plastic bag in it with broken taps.
Old dirty furniture
Dirty old carpets
WiFi for which the man put the password in our phones himself (presumably incase we passed it on to others???)
A boiler in the bathroom that made so much noise we got the staff to fix it.

We asked the staff to fix the dreadful noise coming from the boiler in the room, but in reality the solution was to turn the boiler off of a night time. Not really a solution. The noise was so bad we would not have been able to sleep.

Upon returning to the hotel after eating out, I found cigarette buts in the toilet which were left from the staff 'fixing' the boiler. See pictures.

Half way through the night, guests next door were so loud (we had an early start for a trip the next day) that my partner went down to ask staff to ask them to be quieter. The staff's response was to laugh and swear at him. At this point, we contacted Hotels.com who gave our money back and we booked 'hotel meg' for our next and final night's stay which was perfect and only 10 mins away.

Pictures on hotels.com do not match reality. See pictures below. No jetted tub, not worth £45 per night. Disgusting. Stay away from here!!

In short please avoid! Worse hotel in my life.

1) rude staff
2) jetted tub that doesn't exist
3) holes in the sheets
4) non smoking room, that stinks of smoke
5) dirty sheets
6) fridge propped up by a bottle
7) cigarette ends in the bath
8) dirty carpet riddled with holes
9) boiler in the room
10) noise all night
11) broken lamp
12) dated decor
13) broken coffee table
14) filthy seats.

Please do not make our mistake, stick to branded hotels don't risk it with horrible places like this.

If Only there was a rating of 0 stars, because this is the worst hotel I have ever been too,
1- I booked on booking.com and it was non refundable
2- the pictures describes a nice place, but the actual place is nowhere near the truth
3- they charged 50 $ for a room with a balcony that isn't even a balcony, and the smell of the room was awful!!
4 - the description of the hotel didn't match in real life, and the owner didn't even care, and charged me extra for the balcon.
5- the bathrooms have no bathtubs, like it's described, and they are truly horrible and smells
6- there was no cleaning service
7- the beds!!! I felt the wire and the springs from the mattress like they are about to pop, and they really killed my back, even from sitting on em, which was very disturbing , I had to place pillows on the bed and sleep on them to have some comfort, and it was really disgusting because everything smelled and everything was old!

My list goes on and it never ends, but seriously, this place should be shut down.

We reserved an apartament for 4 people in booking.com but when we came to the hotel it came out that somebody else was already in this apartament. Nothing else was proposed to us, no help given and we were left with no place to stay. I solemnly do not recommend this place.

Me and my 2 friends went to Armenia from December 29 to January 01. We booked this hotel through booking.com. We chose this because the pictures in the site were very nice and the reviews were good as well. We also got it in a very low price considering the dates of our stay. We arrived in the hotel at around 8am but the hotel/bar was close. We tried to knock as loud as we can but no one was answering. Good thing our driver (from our tours) didn't leave us and he helped us contact the hotel personnel. We got the number from the hotel confirmation and called them.. and that's when a man who doesnt know how to speak english met us and let us in.

He was communicating through a translator application in his cellphone so it was a bit hard to understand. He led us into a room which is very different from the pictures and features we saw in booking.com. To argue was useless because of the language barrier.

In the room, there was no wifi, a very small heater, no hot water, old towels & no clean bed sheets. It didnt really meet our expectations.

We tried and ordered food but it took them more than an hour to prepare.

The following day was a bit Ok. They have this staff who can speak english. They provided us pocket wifi and moved us into a nicer room.

We booked in booking.com and requested for early check in coz our time of arrival in Yerevan is at 8am. We came to the hotel and it's close, no one can assist us. Staffs don't speak english and they dont know what to do. They gave us a dirty room with used bed sheets and old towels!! No heater in washroom and water is very cold with -7 temperature outside! We ordered for soup for breakfast and after 1hr still not served until our tour guide pick us up with our empty stomach!
