Great reception staff
Pros:

Location couldn't be more in the centre. The staff where amazing Lia at the front reception was so helpfull even giving a few tips as where to go. She's so smiley welcoming thank you for making my stay that bit better.

Very noisy, worst sleep
Pros:

staff were nice and it was clean

Cons:

There was constant noise throughout the whole night. I rented this hotel as I had an exam the next day and wanted to get a good nights sleep, instead I was awake the whole night at people constantly walking and banging doors all night. I am not happy at all.
The room was also extremely hot.

Very upsetting

The fact that I called them straight after making the booking to doublecheck that I didn’t need to have a hard copy of a passport for my brother whom I paid for the accommodation. The receptionist on the phone said that a picture copy along with the bank card would be sufficient. When he arrived, the receptionist asked for a deposit but then went away from the reception desk and came back and said that her manager said that he needed a hard copy of his photo ID.

I wasted money on paying for taxi transfersrs to the hotel… it was stressful because it was just passed midnight and I had to book another hotel. Stressful for me trying to reorganise. And quite distressing for my brother who has additional needs.

The receptionist said that I would get my money back, but nobody is responding to my questions as to when I will receive the money and I haven’t received the money

Pros:

the wifi is fast and reliable. the room was very clean. the hotel was quiet and excellently located in central leeds

Cons:

it’s very basic compared to other budget chain hotels - not really an issue for 1 night but one to keep in mind

Cons:

Charging £5 to store your bag is a rip off. I wont stay with Easy hotel again I will make sure I stay with a hotel that dosent charge for bag storage. Its a greedy rip off

budget hotel that is great value for money and a good location.
Pros:

First time using easyHotel anywhere. Simply couldn't complain about the cost. The location in Leeds is very central (about a 10min walk from the train station in a pedestrianised shopping street). As a budget hotel, all I wanted was a clean room, decent shower and comfy bed. Only slight niggle was the bed/mattress was just about ok - I could feel the springs/it was quite firm but that I guess might suit others.

Cons:

I understand it is a budget hotel but why no horizontal surfaces anywhere? Seriously did not have a shelf to put stuff on e.g. keys, wallet, bottle of water, phone. Irritating.
Even a small collapsible one by the bed would have helped. My phone did fit in the little niche in the headboard but kept falling out once I put it on charge.

Average hotel in a good location; could do with a little TLC and make sure you fine smokers!!
Pros:

Well located in town and convenient for the local bars and restaurants and transport links in the city. The check-in was easy and having 20% off at Bill's for breakfast was a bit of a bonus!

Cons:

The room was tiny, having no windows is weird but managing the temperature in-room was the hardest as it was air-con and hard to ventilate; either too warm or too cold most of the time! Also, there was a pervading smell of smoke in the corridors which means someone had smoked in the not-too-distant past.

Cons:

The most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept in and the fact you only get one pillow really doesn't help.
No glasses or kettle in room.
Door to the bathroom had obviously slipped at some point you could barely open the door.
