A wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel
Pros:

Beautiful hotel with excellent staff

Cons:

This is our 2nd stay at this beautiful hotel .
Although I would say the bathroom at our 2 stay room was very small & could do with an update.

The restaurant is beautiful & with amazing views. The breakfast was wonderful
The only thing was we felt the room was cold to sit in & needed to keep our coats on. it would have been nice to see the fire lit & woukd also add ambience to the room.

Great location, breakfast, beautiful place to stay!
Pros:

Overall this was an amazing place to stay. The room was clean with a gorgeous view. Breakfast was outstanding, including fresh fruit, delicious croissants, eggs, and coffee/hot chocolate. Centrally located to the historic old town. Staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. My only wish is that we had been able to stay longer!

Sehr schönes großzügiges Hotel mit tollem Blick auf die Stadt
Pros:

Sehr ruhige Lage mit tollem Blick von oben auf die Stadt. Sehr sauber. Sehr freundliches Personal. Eigener Wasserkocher!, Wärmflasche! (Bei 2.900 m) nachts auch mal erforderlich.
Sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Wer Farben, Kunstgegenstände und Accessoires in Gold mag, wird sich hier besonders wohlfühlen.

Cons:

Zu Fuß von der Altstadt zum Hotel sind einige steile Treppen zu meistern. Bei der Höhenluft schon herausfordernd.

Great value hotel in heritage property near the Centro Historico of Quito.
Pros:

Airport pickup on time, excellent restaurant, helpful staff, especially Judith and David. Equator tour arranged by the hotel was the perfect way to spend our layover day.

Pros:

Beautiful views of Quito from hotel. All the staff were exceptional. James at the front deal and Chris in the restaurant both spoke English and both were friendly, courteous, and professional. The property is beautiful.
Our room was a bit small, and the bed too hard for me but my wife said the bed was fine for her. The free breakfast was amazing as was Chris who was our server and the chef made some great dishes for dinner.

Cons:

For me the bed was too firm.

A beautiful property with amazing staff, a beautiful view and a sense of serenity.
Pros:

The property is beautifully restored and maintained. It’s obvious the staff takes pride in their place of work. The staff was wonderful from James at check in to the house keeping and restaurant staff. Everyone was a standout. We were welcomed and made to feel we mattered. The view was outstanding as well.

Cons:

It’s a bit far away for a senior guest to get around. Walking the streets is not for amateurs. Too often it was difficult to get transportation. Uber cancelled calls numerous times due to the challenge it is to get to and from the property.

Always an awesome place to stay!!
Pros:

Always wonderful to stay at this hotel when in Quito. James and David are always accommodating and go out of their way to help where they can. We especially like the restaurant on the top floor. Great food at reasonable prices. And the view from the outdoor lounge is awesome!

Cons:

Had a bit of an issue with a smell coming from the floor drain in the bathroom but, covered it with a carpet and it was fine.

Friendly hotel close to Old Town
Pros:

Great room and lovely views from the terrace. Superb breakfasts and really friendly welcome. Good facilities in the room. Location was very close to Old Town - 10-15mins downhill and 20 mins on way home. Hills are steep but short. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. Lots of interesting art on view around the hotel.

Great stay, excellent staff, and an exceptional view.
Pros:

I had a lovely stay at Vista del Angel. The staff was fantastic, and exceptionally helpful. They arranged a couple of last minute tours for me which were wonderful. The the facilities were lovely, the view from my room was fantastic. Breakfast was very good.

Cons:

The walls are pretty thin so unfortunately I could hear guests arriving in the middle of the night, as well as barking dogs in the neighborhood. Overall it was very quiet, and nearly all of the other guests were very respectful, but the hotel needs better insulation.

Spectacular views, food, and service. Yes, you need to stay here.
Pros:

The place is magnificent. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and unique. The restaurant upstairs serves a glorious breakfast on the patio overlooking the city which is simply spectacular. The food is excellent - have dinner there at least once. David, the hotel manager, is terrific. This place is a true gem and a bargain. Highly recommended!

Nice hotel and great views!
Pros:

The hotel is very well located and really nice. The room was big, and the breakfast was really amazing. We also had dinner in the restaurant, the food was good and the view of the city was incredible!
