A fascinating place I will always remember.
Pros:

Fascinating scenery and very helpful staff. James was always available to make my stay enjoyable in spite of my mobility problems.

Cons:

The very qualities of the property, its isolation between sky and earth, make life a bit difficult for a person with mobility problems.

Gorgeous hotel with spectacular views
Pros:

The hotel was beautiful with incredible views. The food was excellent (we had dinner there, breakfast there plus a boxed breakfast when we had to leave early). The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The bathroom was a bit small. To get that view you had to go up a steep hill. Should have ubered.

Beautiful and quality boutique hotel
Pros:

The included breakfast was great with options of a traditional Ecuadorian option as well. The jacuzzi suite was spacious with great views of Quito. The staff was always accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure I had a good stay.

Great place to stay in Quito.
Pros:

We were very impressed with our stay at Vista del Angel Hotel Boutique. It's only a 15 min downhill walk to San Francisco square in the heart of the Old Town. The hotel staff were exceptionally helpful including providing a map, accommodating dietary requirements, organising airport transfers and looking after our bags before departure (but after checking out). Our bathroom was spacious and renovated to a very high standard. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel has some amazing art works adorning the walls and little nooks and crannies of staircases. There's a stunning manicured green-wall in the enclosed rear courtyard available for relaxing, as well as an open deck with vistas to Cotopaxi volcano. We dined all 3 nights in the restaurant enjoying a variety of delicious food and drinks, and the breakfast was comprehensive with fresh fruit, granola cereal with yoghurt, eggs and toast, and barista coffee. A highlight is the view of the Panecillo (and Angel) from the restaurant by day and night. Truly spectacular!

Fabulous. Loved every part of this stay. The staff couldn't do enough to help us. Views are spectacular. It is uphill so wear decent footwear. Breakfast was unbelievable. The best I've had in Equador. I plan to stay a few more nights after Galapágos. Top marks!

Spectacular VIEWS and excellent service
Pros:

Everything - btfl building, spectacular views from all over, specially the terrace and dining room restaurant. Food is gourmet, excellent cook, the staff, super helpful, specially Chris at the restaurant, James at front desk (has tons of information on all kinds of tours and taxis), and the Manager. Beautiful architecture and interior design - eclectic), always spotless. Rooms are georgeous, top of the line linens/towels, etc.. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. Don't miss the views at night... and, being in the Colonial District: they have PARKING!!!!

Cons:

Perhaps the walk back from the Plaza d Independencia might be hard because of the steep hills, so us "gringos" watch out because of the altitude, u might get short of breath.
