The property is a hidden gem.
Pros:

The layout is very unique and the decor is wonderful.

Cons:

You need to have a driver who is very capable and knowledgeable of the vicinity. Unfortunately, our driver lacked the confidence to make the maneuvers to bring us to the gated entrance.

A beautiful hotel in a lovely historic building with a stunning view over the city and incredibly welcoming and friendly
Pros:

An excellent location with a breathtaking view over the city. The hotel is in a really beautiful historic building, the room was well equipped and comfortable and a breakfast box was provided for my early start.
The staff were outstanding in their communication after my booking and there was a very warm and friendly welcome from Jennifer who went to a great deal of trouble to provide suggestions for my evening out including ringing the places to check when they closed. This really was memorably great service and all done with a big smile though I didn’t actually go out that evening as I couldn’t tear myself away from the view.
If I am ever in Quito again I would certainly stay here and I can wholeheartedly recommend it to others.

Es war ein großartiger Aufenthalt und der Name ist Programm.
Pros:

Wunderschön dekoriertes Hotel, alles ist sehr Stilvoll eingerichtet. Aber besonders der Speisesaal und die Roof top Terrasse mit einem traumhaften Ausblick.

Cons:

In Quitos Altstadt geht es ganz schön steil bergauf und bergab. Da muss man schon sehr fit sein 😅

Incredible view, very VERY hot water
Pros:

The view is INCREDIBLE!!! And the breakfast was delicious! The staff was so nice. Late check out!

Cons:

The water in the shower got so hot that I got burned very badly. They need to have a warning for tourists who are not used to this. It is just a terrible accident waiting to happen.

Sehr schön. Super Sicht und bequem.
Pros:

Die Sicht war unglaublich über die stadt. Leckerstes und abwechslungsreichstes Frühstück in Ecuador erlebt. Sehr schönes Zimmer im Kolonialgebäude. Bequem.

Cons:

Teilweise ist das Personal an der Rezeption überfordert. Die Lage ist ein bisschen weiter weg vom Zentrum und hügelich, aber ist gut für die akklimatisation.

Nice hotel in the heart of Quito with excellent food.
Pros:

Room was nice, there was a jacuzzi, staff was helpful and the restaurant was excellent!

Cons:

It wasn’t clear that the room didn’t have a window that actually opened to the outside. It opened to the hallway so if you didn’t want to have your room open to others, or close the shade, it was stuffy. There was a heater and bathroom fan but otherwise not that ventilated. Totally minor issue though.
