The room temperature was extremely high
The breakfast room is why you must stay here. It is a phenomenal view and was the highlight of the stay. On a clear day, you can see for miles - so while you're waking up, drinking your coffee, you can see the beautiful lake of Bariloche and have a few European pastries. A word of note, the staff will be frosty if you don't know a little Spanish - this makes sense, it's their country, and I'm guessing they must deal with a lot of Anglophone tourists who don't bother to learn a passable amount. I found this challenging while attempting to navigate their breakfast service. The way it worked during my stay (in February 2023) was that a staff member was behind a glass barrier, and would serve you the breakfast. You had to individually ask for each thing (ie, a peach, etc). Most places we stayed had slightly different services so this was confusing my first day there.
The rooms are budget-style and the bathrooms are older. The hot water is VERY VERY hot - be careful! But I'd prefer that to it beind cold.
The rooms have a smell of mould/damp. This is common in ski areas due to the amount of condensation during the winter. We were there during the Summer. This is a hotel that has seen better days, but it has an old world charm.
The receptionist will come up with you in the lift your first time due to the very old nature of the lift. It lurches and feels a little unsafe.
Rustic charm near the centre of Bariloche
Booking said room would have kale or mountain view, this was barely visible. No air con or fan so rather hot. Lumpy uncomfortable pillows. Asked for a quiet room away from the lifts but located right next to them.

el horario del desayuno que es de 8 a 9.30hs tendria que ser minimo hasta 10.30 hs- yo estuve en cuarto piso y las paredes son huecas se escucha todo de una habitacion contigua hay otros detalles de mantenimiento pero considerando que es 3 estrellas son pasables
Good value at pleasant hotel with clean and comfortable en suite rooms not far from centre of Bariloche and in quiet location. Friendly and helpful staff but with limited English. Comfortable rooms. Best breakfast during trip through Argentina.
We stayed at the Ruca Cheli for 4 nights in Bariloche. I felt that this hotel was our "get away" from the town of Bariloche. It's about a 10 minute walk from the main road so it's quiet. The people at the front desk are really nice. They didn't all speak english, but we understood each other. The morning guy spoke a bit of english and helped us book a hotel in the next town and to sort out some details of an adventure reservation gone bad.
I would definitely stay here again. It was clean, breakfast was decent, service was friendly and nice.
