Pros:

They have convenient on-site parking, a great hotel bar with excellent drinks, and complimentary umbrellas that were very handy on rainy days.

Cons:

The room was extremely small, which I realize is what I booked, but for the price I would have preferred to be closer to the main attractions. With four bags from traveling around Europe, we could barely move around the room—honestly, it was almost comical at times. It also ended up being a longer walk than I expected for what I paid, and in hindsight I probably should have kept my original reservation at Trinity Townhouse Hotel instead of switching to stay where my friends were.

A memorable stay and the best breakfast we had in all of IReland!!!
Pros:

The breakfast was out of this world and the staff was so accommodating. All the little thoughtful details made for a wonderful stay.

Cons:

Wish it had been a little closer to most attractions but not a big issue.

Super süßes Boutique Hotel zum verlieben
Pros:

Very pretty and close enough to walk to many places.
Pros:

Really pretty place with a lovely gin and tea room. Great breakfast! The staff were kind and helpful.

Cons:

Rooms were a little more tired than I pictured and the beds quite firm. A slight musty smell but opening the window helped.

Loved the quiet location, charming decor. Tea room staff and food need improvement.
Pros:

The upgrade to the main floor suite. The very charming decor. Clara, the receptionist's lovely warmth, enthusiasm and help.

Cons:

The awful music in the tea room. The general mediocre service by the tea room staff. The rather unappetising seafood plate I had there. However, we stuck to the continental breakfast the following morning and that was good. So, we were a bit apprehensive about the quality of the cooked food overall.

Also, the bedroom pillows weren't comfy, they were rather thin as was the bed covering.

Convenient tasteful gem in the centre of the city
Pros:

This is our second stay at the Wilder - such a gem in the centre of the city. We love the history, the tasteful rooms, the generous en suite, the delicious breakfasts and the charming staff. We will be back.

Cons:

It’s a boutique hotel not a big country house hotel - no gym, spa or sauna but for a convenient comfortable stay in a place that feels like stating with a tasteful friend you could not do better

Pros:

Nous avons trouvé l'emplacement de l'hôtel idéal. Proche du centre, tout en étant tranquille, proche également de l'arrêt du tram.
La chambre était petite mais confortable et la salle de bain très agréable

A great choice for a few days in Dublin!
Pros:

The Wilder was the perfect hotel for our long weekend in Dublin. The neighborhood is walking distance to pretty much everything we did and just steps from St. Stephens Green. Our room was nicely furnished and comfortable and the added small things like the welcome treats (snacks in the room and a G&T down in the bar), Nespresso machine, and turn down service added a sense of luxury. We had breakfast included in our rate and it was well stocked with fresh fruit, smoothies, breads, meats, and cheeses. We could also order à la carte. I highly recommend the mini Irish breakfast. Everything was cooked to perfection and you could tell they take care in sourcing their ingredients. All in all I would come back to The Wilder next time we're in town.

Side note: the water pressure was fantastic!

Cons:

We booked a small double room and the room was definitely tight and lacked storage. That's just one of the downsides to such an old building. We only had carry on suitcases and had enough space to lay them out, but anything more than that and your bag would soon become a tripping hazard. In addition, the shower was quite small with not a ton of elbow room, but the rest of the bathroom was spacious and had enough room to move around.
