Very pleasant but space restricted stay
Pros:

The staff were exceptional, the location great and the property was extremely clean and tidy

Cons:

When we arrived we were given the keys to a room which was very small, I think it’s called the shoebox. I wasn’t aware of this small room as the rooms advertised looked different. This room is very small and there is not much room for two people at all.

A lovely boutique hotel.
Pros:

This is a lovely, calm boutique hotel. The staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. The breakfasts were excellent and the little extra touches such as the complimentary gin and tonics on arrival (which can be enjoyed in the courtyard (if weather permits!)) and the biscuits and chocolates were much appreciated. The on-site car parking was a major plus for us.

Cons:

These issues are not major negatives, but I am raising them here for completeness. We stayed at the Wilder twice (at the start and end of our trip to Ireland). On the second occasion we were upgraded to a suite which was very spacious and a beautiful room, but on the first occasion we were in a standard double room which was a little cramped (limited room for luggage and hanging space), particularly given the room price. This is probably a necessary consequence of converting a heritage building (and there was a lift, which was a bonus for a heritage building). In an ideal world we would also have preferred to be, say, 10 minutes walk closer to the central city areas. However, we were still able to walk everywhere we wanted to go and there is a Luas (tram) stop nearby to the hotel. Also, the extra walking distance comes with the benefit of a quieter location near the canal (and also the opportunity to have a car park).

Pleasant, close to the uninspiring conference hotel I wanted to avoid.
Pros:

This establishment has a good vibe, it is estethically pleasing, compact and quiet. It is well appointed. Welcome gin and tonic is provided.

Cons:

The hotel is somewhat compact and cramped, as is the bar, and our room was, too. The view was of the backyard. The bathroom was barely more spacious. The entire establishment would benefit from refreshing.

Fabulous! Lovely hotel and staff.
Pros:

Very stylish, friendly staff, great art, beautiful breakfast room and great breakfast. Tea and cookies in the room. Everything felt very deliberately designed, beautiful and cozy.

Cons:

I would have loved a bath tub. 😅

Pros:

They have convenient on-site parking, a great hotel bar with excellent drinks, and complimentary umbrellas that were very handy on rainy days.

Cons:

The room was extremely small, which I realize is what I booked, but for the price I would have preferred to be closer to the main attractions. With four bags from traveling around Europe, we could barely move around the room—honestly, it was almost comical at times. It also ended up being a longer walk than I expected for what I paid, and in hindsight I probably should have kept my original reservation at Trinity Townhouse Hotel instead of switching to stay where my friends were.

Super süßes Boutique Hotel zum verlieben
Pros:

A memorable stay and the best breakfast we had in all of IReland!!!
Pros:

The breakfast was out of this world and the staff was so accommodating. All the little thoughtful details made for a wonderful stay.

Cons:

Wish it had been a little closer to most attractions but not a big issue.
