The staff, the location and the hotel were absolutely perfect. The Italian restaurant food was wonderful. The staff in both reception/hotel and the restaurant were absolutely brilliant. So friendly and welcoming.
Me and my son both Totally loved it and have already planned our return later in the year!
It was one of the nicest friendliest hotels we've stayed in. Loved it.

Cons:

The only things I can truly feed back on for this visit was that I had to go to reception for extra toilet roll as we were only left with one, and had to ask for some shower gel. I went to the lovely lady at reception,she found soap for us, which was fine for one night, we just assumed there would be some in the bathroom. Not a problem, only had to pop to reception and as I said, we were well.looked after to the best of her ability and nothing was too much trouble.
The plug in airfreshener was empty and there was a bit of a funny smell.in the room seemed like it was from the carpet but not sure,
Again, its not something that would stop us from returning as we absolutely loved it in the hotel!!

Great stay in fairness just the ceiling height and warm room
Pros:

The hotel was unique and smart for the cost

Cons:

The room wasn’t suitable for anyone over 6ft and because it was in the loft it was extremely hot we did get a fan after calling reception but still just circulated the warm air

Great find. Bed was disappointing

No hot water.

The location was very convenient

Cons:

We were very disappointed with the way the hotel dealt with the issue that we had no hot water in the bathroom. We brought this to their attention and said they would get it sorted and if not would move us to another room. It was not fixed and when we asked to be moved they said none available. They promised to get it fixed the next day but once again it wasn't sorted. We had no hot water for our entire stay. On checkout they promised to refund us one night's accommodation. That was almost 2 months ago and despite several emails and promises of refund we still have not received any money back. I strongly recommend people not to stay in this hotel

Not so boutique

Staff were lovely and price was low. Central location.

Cons:

Room was freezing, portable oil heaters only. Hidden step entering the room that was a trip hazard. 2 beds pushed together and very soft mattress. Shower was broken and would not stay on the hook and tray flooded as not on an angle. Sink in the bathroom the size of a washing up bowl and tap also damaged. Furniture was marked and scuffed. I don't think the sky light was double glazed as you could hear the pigeons nesting on it really loudly. The front door latch was broken and it did not feel secure.
