Absolutely wonderful stay! Lovely location, so comfortable! Beautifully maintained and so friendly. What a wonderful place to stay in the Hamptons!

My daughter and I have stayed twice at Journey East Hampton when attending the Hampton Whodunit event in April. We love this unique property that’s located on a main road yet feels somewhat secluded. The beds are comfortable and the décor is pleasant. There’s plenty of closet space. Everything’s spotless.

We felt more like visiting guests than a room number. We returned after a year, and people who work there remembered us and greeted us as if we were old friends. The lobby is more than the desk where you check in. It’s a place to relax, have coffee, and enjoy grab-and-go breakfast items, including some tasty homemade muffins. There’s a “garden room” separate from the main building with seating and a table, which I used for a writing space in the early morning. The entire atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming.

There’s an outdoor seating area around a firepit, which unfortunately we did not have time to use; a sauna that we hoped to get to but ran out of time, and a pool that we did not consider because our stay was in April, but it looks lovely.

The wood of the walkways and the siding give the hotel exterior a country feeling, and the lovely lawn area is at the back of the property, away from the road.

I almost want to keep Journey East Hampton a secret, but the owners and staff deserve to have what they do made known. I recommend this place for a pleasant and comfortable stay.

Journey is located in an ideal location to explore The Hamptons. It has great facilities including breakfast, heated pool and even a sauna onsite. Another pleasant surprise was when they lit the fire pit at night and supplied S’mores for all the guests to enjoy. It was a nice touch.
Lastly, but most importantly, the Manager Cindy was such a lovely person. From the moment we arrived Cindy was welcoming and informative of the area. She has such a warm personality that it makes your stay even the more enjoyable. It was an absolute joy to meet her.
This hotel is highly recommended and we would love to return again.

The staff was truly wonderful. The beds were also some of the comfiest beds I’ve ever slept on in a hotel. A great weekend!

The sauna. Good location. Water for the room.

I recently met up with one of my best childhood friends from L.I. for a chill getaway in East Hampton. The entire property of Journey EH is exceptionally modern, fresh, clean and tidy. Their location is super convenient to the towns and beaches of both East Hampton and Amagansett. They offer grab-and-go breakfast, snacks, and drinks, and a member of the staff lights the fire pit every night and provides DIY s'mores. Cindy welcomed me the morning after I had checked in late the night before. She has had a lifelong career in hospitality and hotel management and it is evident. Every staff member we met was friendly, professional, and helpful - from Erika and Keanu who arranged my initial arrival, to Michelle who assisted us in purchasing a bottle of wine one evening. Our guest room was beautiful, beds and pillows excellent, as good as they come. I would return in a heartbeat.

We recently returned for our second stay, and it was every bit as delightful as the first. The staff once again made us feel incredibly welcome — their warmth and attentiveness truly set this place apart. The rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated, creating a cozy atmosphere that instantly feels like home. It’s rare to find a hotel where everything feels so personal and genuine. We’re already looking forward to coming back for our next visit!
