The hotel was fine and comfortable for a short stay when I would be out a lot but due to the lighting I would probably s
Pros:

Convenient for railway station and eating out. Large comfortable bed, bathroom/shower room clean and compact.
Reception/restaurant area clean and well laid out, coffee sachets and other consumables were available for use in room.
Breakfast good quality if somewhat limited in variety.
A kettle was provided for hot drinks.
The staff were very friendly and tried their best to be helpful. It would have been useful if there had been at least one person with good English but they did their best.

Cons:

1. The room lighting was very poor… 1 ceiling light at entry, 1 in one corner, not bright enough. In fact a torch was provided … not convenient. I found it quite oppressive and preferred to be out as much as possible.
2. The safe didn’t work so therefore unusable.
3. I couldn’t find the stairs so had to use the lifts exclusively. I prefer to use the stairs so this was disappointing. There were fire escapes (locked) only to the outside.

Good choice for Kobe beef experience and short layovers
Pros:

Nice location and super nice staff, spacious rooms and lots of places to dry clothes

Cons:

Small bathroom - difficult to sit on the toilet as an average European male, the elevator can take long during mornings, breakfast needs to be ordered at the reception and is not “self service”

Fuss free stay, good spot for a short trip
Pros:

Good location close to train station and easy to walk most other places. Spacious room, comfortable bed. Staff friendly and helpful, overall great value.

Cons:

Front of the hotel initially difficult to find due to construction, once we figured out the ‘back way’ to get there much easier. Worth noting no issues with construction noise at all during the stay.

Everything was fine.

Everything was fine except for the construction noise from nearby, but that can't really be considered a problem with the restaurant.
