Adequate but overpriced for the lack of facilities and maintenance.
Pros:

The room was reasonable for 4 people with a small private pool and patio area. And the location was good - at the quiet end of Phi Phi Bay.

Cons:

The pool and grounds were in severe need of maintenance and upkeep. The gardens were a barren wasteland and the pool area was unfinished; no poolside bar or service, very few sunbeds. The breakfast area was very basic and service was slow and a bit surly. The restaurant only opened for boat loads of day trippers and closed again as soon as they left and the beach side cafe was slow to serve and often had a limited menu. Overall it felt like they were at the end of season and in need of a good renovation project.

Fantastisk beliggenhed
Pros:

Hotellet ligger virkeligt godt i den pæne og polerede del af Phi Phi. Tæt på spisesteder, messagesteder og butikker. Vi boede på hotellet i fire dage med vores to teenagere. Vi kom fra et 5 stjernet hotel på Koh Yao Yai og var derfor virkelig bekymret over at skulle videre til dette hotel. Anmeldelserne var jo rigtig dårlige! Vi blev meget positivt overraskede- værelserne lå i en ret ny bygning, og der var ingen dårlig lugt eller mug. Poolområdet lå smukt lige ned til stranden, og vanden var rent og klart i modsætning til andre steder i Thailand. Sødt personale. Stedet er uden tvivl dyrt, men det er rimeligt, når man sammenligner med andre hoteller på øen.

Cons:

Sengene er til den hårde side, vandtryk dårligt, og morgenmaden er kedelig, så den skal man ikke tilkøbe. Der er nogle små hyggelige cafeer tæt på, så dem benyttede vi. Hotellets restaurant blev brugt af turbådene til frokost, men det generede ikke os. De må bruge nogle vilde kemikalier for at holde poolen så ren. Vi fik orange aflejringer ved neglerødderne, i tørre hårspidser og på noget af badetøjet. På trods af disse ting, så syntes alle i familien at de fire dage her var mindst lige så gode som på det 5 stjernede hotel, vi kom fra.

Could be a really nice resort with a proper refurb and return to traditional thai service to western customers.
Pros:

The location is really good and the general feel of the property is that you are at a decent resort.
A couple of the reception staff are super helpful.

Cons:

The rooms, despite modern are already in disrepair. The pool has super high chemical levels and the breakfast was clearly leftovers from the night before. It is a shame as this could be a really nice resort, but they have now set their business model on providing set meals and accommodation for large Russian tour groups and as such the high turnover results in impersonal standardised service, poor quality food and constantly surrounded by rude customers.
