We were in Bayeux to visit the Normandy beaches. This is a great location for such a trip and our tour company picked up just a short five minute walk from the hotel. The hotel is also in a great location with numerous restaurants, cafe’s, bars and a grocery store right next door. It’s also an easy fifteen minute walk to and from the train station.
Wall’s were maybe a little thin. We could easily hear the people next door.
Location and clean-
The location was great, close to shopping, restaurants/bars and even a small grocery store. Close to tourist places & the Tourist Info center. There is a quaint courtyard to sit in also. The rooms were a bit small, but nice! The directions to the hotel are a bit misleading as there are 2 entrances, The one given on the site is the one on the small walking street, not a place you can drive up to if you are traveling by car. There is another entrance on the other side, by the courtyard. This is where the small parking area is located, maybe 10 cars. That street is Place de Quebec. It’s very handy.
The hotel is older and does not have an elevator, so you need to walk up the stairs to get to your room. If your room is 204, that’s actually on the 3rd floor.

We thought the hotel and staff was great and very friendly. The D-Day tours pick up just 100 yards away so that was great. Highly recommend the hotel
Lovely hotel in a great locatiin. The staff and owners of the hotel were very accommodating and friendly. They made us dinner reservations and offered several recommendations for dining. The location is excellent, right in the center of town. They have a shuttle that you can book to St. Mont Michel, which is a bonus. The room was large and windows opened onto a view of the main street. I would stay here again.
There is no elevator, but the staff brought our bags to the room which was very helpful.
We didn't like the breakfast. They don't y have a cooked breakfast. Eggs were offered, but the scrambled eggs were precooked , not cooked to order. The croissants and pastries were mini and looked like supermarket items, not bakery items.

No in room coffee… no lift…. Small shower…. Uncomfortable seating in room. Steep stairs…

Stanza molto piccola , con poche prese di ricarica (nessuna sui comodini), nessun appendino nel bagno , aria condizionata controllata solo dallo staff. La colazione potrebbe essere migliorata ad esempio confetture fresche (il pane è buonissimo)
