Pleasant first floor room near old town.
Pros:

Pleasant room, accessed by a relatively steep, narrow staircase coming off passage way.
Handy for Lincoln old town and free street parking overnight and Sundays.

Cons:

Slight difficulty collecting keys because telephone messaging service didn't appear to work.

Had to park 20 minutes away and walk up very steep hill

A fantastic stay in a beautiful property with wonderful hosts and an ideal location for exploring Lincoln.
Pros:

The Bronze Pig exceeded our expectations. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. The attention to detail throughout the property was outstanding, and the hosts were warm, welcoming and helpful. The location was perfect, with easy access to Lincoln Castle, the Cathedral and the city centre.

Cons:

The room was quite warm during our stay, but we visited during a heatwave and a fan was provided, so this was not the fault of the property and was managed as well as possible.

Perfect location, a bit pricey for the room.
Pros:

Location was excellent for the concert we attended.
Bed was comfortable, shower hot.
The hotel owner was friendly.

Cons:

There was no air con, the fan was not adequate enough, the room was very hot.
There was only 1 tea bag- decaffeinated.
The room was not cleaned to a high standard, cobwebs, bathroom floor was slightly dirty, the bathroom smelt of white vinegar which had been used to clean it.

I had a great stay at The Bronze Pig. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a fabulous modern bathroom with a walk-in shower, which was especially appreciated during the 35°C heatwave! A fan was also provided, which made a big difference.
The complimentary water, tea, and coffee were a nice touch.

Great hidden gem
Pros:

Great location for Lincoln Castle and nearby car park.Room is really nicely done out with quality furnishings not cheap looking like a lot of similar places

Cons:

Could maybe do with something more on the windows as it very open looking out onto the street,maybe an iron in room? Only minor things really which wouldn't stop me staying there again
