Stylish, relaxing and perfectly located — a beautiful Brisbane stay. ✨
Pros:

The Calile Hotel is one of our favourite places to stay in Brisbane. From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere feels relaxed, stylish and welcoming.
The rooms are beautifully designed, comfortable and thoughtfully appointed. The pool area is stunning and feels like a resort in the middle of the city.
The location on James Street is unbeatable, surrounded by fantastic dining and shopping options.
Service was warm and professional throughout our stay. We absolutely loved the experience and look forward to returning again.

Great
Pros:

Great internal decor
Location is right in the middle of one of Brisbane’s best shopping and dining precincts.

Cons:

A few really noisy and disruptive children around the pool which spoilt our relaxing afternoon.
I honestly don’t think this is the right venue for small children. Some were left to run loose while the parents drank.
My clothes, phone and towel got quite wet with kids dive bombing. Very small children were literally crying and carrying on.

The atmosphere and staff attentiveness was the best I have had at an Australian hotel.
Lounging by the pool all day ordering cocktails and food was heaven.

Cons:

Not being able to stay longer or move in permanently.

Staff exceptional!

Cons:

Writing Paper and 'Calile' monogrammed pen should have been part of the normal 'in room' standard supplies.

"Boujee" hotel in a gentrified area of The Valley - luxury all the way.
Pros:

There's a reason this hotel charges the eye watering rates that it does, everything is exceptional here. From the staff uniforms right through to the little extras in the rooms (make-up remover wipes and Dyson hair dryers!), it has all been extremely well thought out. Staff have been trained meticulously and it shows, nothing is too much trouble. It was refreshing to see young people (most in their 20s-30s) working at such a high standard in the hospitality industry. Well done Calile!

Cons:

The pool area is limited in size and was very crowded both days that I was there. A mezzanine level above the pool area could be something to look into if building approvals allow. That way more sunlounges and seating could be included, with access via stairs to the pool. Honestly the pool area seems to be the major draw-card for this hotel, so it would be a no-brainer to expand the seating/lounge area with access to the pool.
I was disappointed in my meal at Hellinka, I was expecting great things, but the spanner crab pasta was salty and tasteless sadly.
