Room size, cleanliness, Staff & service
Location
Their rooms are spacious, clean, with a surprisingly big bath/shower section, and excellent AC. Power had a few hiccups, but it always came back on withing a few minutes.
The bed is very comfortable.
Breakfast and Dinner are buffet style, and tend to be a bit repetitive, mostly Indian dishes. But there are also a-la-carte options, and the staff is very attentive. They try to accommodate any culinary request if possible.
The spa has excellent massage therapists, that provide a variety of massages. It was a very relaxing experience.
The location of the hotel is a bit off the beaten path and not that easy to find. And one is mostly limited to the one restaurant in the hotel, as it is outside of town and going into town is not that easy in the evenings, unless you have a driver available,
Just a note: If you go on the tiger safari in the morning, be prepared to get up before 5 am, as the safaris start at six.
Excellent staff and excellent property. Food was awesome and the kitchen staff was courteous and friendly. Great hospitality!
All Staff of the hotel are very well behaved and helpful.
Good location.
Everything
Nothing
Such a beautiful place, really calm and tranquil.
Maybe a bit old especially bathroom even though its charming
Mega comfortable bed - we slept so well
Food was plentiful varied and very tasty
Staff were engaged and very helpful
Location was a short drive to the safari
No outside dining/bar
The bathroom was a bit scruffy, paint on the window, hot water was erratic and the shower didn’t drain correctly so one side flooded after each shower
The hotel was stunning and we had a beautiful room. The pool and gardens were lovely and you can book a massage at a reasonable cost.
We were told that you could eat in their restaurant and choose from the menu. However, everyone was ushered into the garden for their a’la carte buffet. This is fine if you like the Indian cuisine. When it came to breakfast we had two separate waiters during our two day stay, who continually plied us with food that we didn’t want. They stood over us which made us feel very uncomfortable. We couldn’t wait to get out.
Sehr schöner historischer Baustil. Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen und Entspannen.
Jammern auf hohem Niveau. Badausstattung könnte etwas moderner und das Frühstücksbuffet etwas umfangreicher sein.
Great staff; nothing too difficult from blankets for morning safari, food top ups, lovely gardens to train station pick up. We enjoyed a very late check out too!!
They’re happy to go the extra mile which showed - lovely character hotel - highly recommended
Yes it’s on a bumpy road but it takes 5 mins to the main road
The staff were amazing and could not be more helpful, the place was clean well presented lovely pool and gardens very peaceful and would recommend especially if doing the safari
On a side note the safari's are numbers 1 to 10 and you’re more likely to see the tigers from 1 to 5 hope this helps anyone booking
To be honest the only thing was the location as there no other restaurants etc nearby but you weren't overcharged for food or drinks
But that was a positive as was quite
Old world charm. Rooms clean. Staff exceptional. Relaxing. Lovely pool. Massage therapists in the day spa were very experienced.
Nothing to dislike
The staff was very friendly, helpful and forthcoming. Beautiful rooms, spacious and luxurious interior. The garden is lush and well kempt, with beautiful flowers, bushes and palmtrees. Nice pool with spa options.
Unfortunately for our taste, the whole place has an imperial and rather colonial feel to it. Also, the whole dinner (even the fresh fruit) tasted extremely of chlorine, which one staff member explained to us by pointing out that they sprinkle it over the food for safety reasons and to kill germs. The receptionist denied this when we pointed it out the next morning.
