I have recently started using the Tru line from Hilton and have found them to be very clean and very straightforward. The Tru in Meridian, Mississippi is no exception. It was exactly what we needed and nothing that we didn’t. Super clean, I love the way there’s no carpet in the rooms, no bathtubs at least not that I’ve seen, no shower curtains. Everything is easy to keep clean and kept clean. I feel like the design was well thought out for ease of maintenance. The beds are platform, so there’s no opportunity for random things to get stuck under the bed, there’s no closets just hanging space which eliminates doors that can come off of hinges or get banged around. The showers are glass, no shower curtains that can get dingy and moldy. Very clean modern lines designed to be easily cleaned and easily maintained. No bedspreads that can get icky. I found the bed to be very comfortable very fresh.. breakfast was as good as you would expect a free breakfast to be. The pancake machine was fun, but the oatmeal was a little runny. The cheese omelette was excellent. All in all, this stay in Meridian reinforced my opinion of the Tru line from Hilton and it will be my main stay from now on.

While my room wasn’t as clean as my last stay, this property is still convenient for my needs. Staff is friendly, the breakfast buffet is basic but fresh, and the coffee is hot. The property is also pretty quiet, because it’s not right on I-20. Will stay here again.

Everything was nice. The staff were great. You rarely find good customer service now.

Better variety bacon was a little tough and boil eggs was hard to peel.

Loved the colorful lobby and the staff were very kind.

The bands were broken underneath the boards they don’t give you free breakfast. There’s Jacuzzi was not working, and the fire alarm went off last night.
