I stayed in a 2 bed flat owned by the Bridge Inn, situated a short walk away. Lovely top floor flat with secure entry, great views, very spacious, light and so cozy (I stayed in January). Close to amenities like shops, cafes, buses and wonderful walks. If the owners installed the internet I'd definitely stay again and for longer.
The kitchen wasn't very well equiped (no sieve or colander and limited food prep knives) but that could easily be fixed with a trip to Ikea.
However, the biggest improvement would be having the internet installed in the flat, then it would attract people wanting to stay for longer or who were travelling for business.
Breakfast is not available but that is clear from the start and reflected in a very fair price. Plenty of coffee shops nearby
The staff explained fully that there is a major extension planned to accommodate better access. Therefore when they do this in 2026 it will allow them to upgrade the rooms. So, improvements are in the way!
No breakfast supplied which was fine as we expected and paid for accordingly this was not a problem for us as we only do cereal for breakfast and we tak it with us.
No problem's
Short commute
There wasn't any parking
Bed was clean and tidy good clean towels tea/coffee supply good
Hotel is rather tired and in need of freshening up the room and bathroom both require freshening
Everything was okay except for the bed.
The bed was as hard as a rock, made sleeping very uncomfortable
The bed was comfortable
Toilet seat not secure, shower not clean. Drilling dust on bedroom floor.
Room 2, Beds were to hard, the sink water cam up the bath plug hole, the curtais did not block out the street light right outside the window, the outside is run down and not at all like the picture, the hallways are dimly lit.
It was good . Basic and what I needed when I was very tired from a very long trip and drive.
Place could do with better airfreshner , a phone in the room to connect to reception as it was too long walk to it for a toilet roll.
good for the money, nice bar downstairs, very friendly staff
The locals were a good laugh.
The room had no heating for 3 days. Was promised £100 refund still not received. Manager blocked my number. Owner no where to be found apparently. Had to leave early.
Excellent value for money if anything too cheap to be fair
Good staff made us very welcome
We arrived early, abd the young lady at reception, was so polite and couldnt be more helpful.. Janette and tge staff were amazing. We will be back.
Staff were very friendly. Bar was fun for a late night drink after our night out
Room was adequate but a bit dated
