Highly recommend Hotel Timila
Pros:

The staff were awesome! I was a bit sick, and the staff were so caring.
Nice restaurant in the courtyard, and a super breakfast is included with the room price

I will love to stay again next time visit to Kathmandu.
Pros:

Great location. Only three minutes walk to the Patan Durbar Square. The food in hotel restaurant was so good plus many good restaurants around. The hotel building and the garden was beautiful. The staffs were friendly and helpful. The hotel room was very clean and roomy.

Hotel Timila far exceed my expectations, particularly because the staff are simply awesome.
Pros:

The room is exceptionally lovely and very functional (outstanding bathroom/shower, huge balcony, fridge, desk, couch, strong internet, and incredibly comfortable bed). The highlight of my stay, though, was the staff. Every single member of the team were friendly, respectful, helpful, kind, and made me wish I could stay longer (huge shout-out to Amrita!). This is a gem of a place! Seriously, I couldn't be happier with my stay... it made my time in Nepal truly wonderful to have this home away from home.

Cons:

Everything was better than perfect. Whenever I had a question or request, the staff was extremely kind and helpful. Even the owls who live across the street from the balcony were amazing.

Pros:

Pros:

The staff are amazing; so friendly and accommodating. It's in a great location for exploring food and coffee, while being around local culture (the area feels less touristy than Thamel, so you actually get a better experience). The room and hotel restaurant are also very nice, and especially the outdoor sitting area has a great vibe.

A relaxing stay, with warm service and good coffee
Pros:

I was travelling alone, and I felt very safe and well looked after at Timila. The night I arrived, my cab took a wrong turn and the receptionist came down the road to find us. The staff are warm and quick to help, including making me a quick cup of good coffee as soon as I woke up every morning. I also enjoyed sitting in the courtyard with the NY Times at breakfast. The room is expansive, and quiet.

Cons:

Patan is quiet - so be prepared for that. On the first night, the streets were quiet and restaurants were closed, so I went to bed early with a book. However, by day two I realised that it is also very safe, and enjoyed exploring ancient durbar square late at night.

Would stay here again without hesitation.
Pros:

The Timila is a great place to stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. By the time we checked out we felt we were with friends or family. The food was very good and the menu had a lot of interesting and well-executed meals. When we needed a late check-out for the over-night flight back to HK, they allowed us to use our room until very late in the afternoon. Very thoughful. It's a good location for walking around the area site-seeing too.

Cons:

Only one thing - our room, 104 was right over the kitchen and so it was a little noise at times. Minor detail.
